  • Great battle system, needs expanding to make it more complex, but it was a lot of fun. Seems like the only thing to do is ice ball and collect snow. A lot of fun and cute.
  • Short and sweet. The visuals and music work well together. I didn't fully understand the significance in throwing snowballs in the overworld, but that didn't stop me from pelting everything! The battles were very challenging, and while I didn't lose, I felt like I was on the brink each time.
  • cool game. the controls seemed a bit wonky, like do you click or press space bar? theres a few mechanics on how that worked that wasnt immediately obvious the thing that needs fixing the most is a visual communication thing. after throwing a snowball, you have to wait a bit before you can throw again, and the enemy all of the sudden hits your healthbar with no warning. it needs some UI and/or special effects to communicate to the player (A) what is going on (B) when they can throw a snowball again. the out-of-combat snowball throwing is neat. this is a really cool concept for a game and its cool to see some undertale-inspired games this year. overall a solid entry
  • The game is very straightforward and easy to understand, although I have to admit it took me a second to realize I had to talk to each character more than once. I though the fights were interesting, with each one having a slightly different mechanic. However, it felt like there could have been more strategy in each fight to help the game feel more engaging. That said, I though the game looked great and definitely fit into the theme!

I could see a better UI helping the player understand the game a bit better, and maybe standardizing the controls as well would help. Thanks a ton for the feedback!

Cute game!

I like the snowball mechanic, I wish it did more stuff. I felt compelled snowballs at everyone even though it didn't do anything to them, lol.

I think it also felt slightly disjointed that I (had to?) use my mouse in combat sections when I had been using my keyboard like twin sticks the whole time outside of it. That's a pretty minor thing though!

Overall solid entry!

I like the idea of maybe implementing some alternate dialog, giving a combat advantage if the player hits an NPC or enemy with a snowball, or maybe having it interact with the environment more. Thank you for the feedback!

I liked the dialogues and fight timing was neat, although the fights felt a little... easy? Like, the snow mechanic was definitely there, but I didn't notice the bottom move until the last fight, and just used the 'throw snowball' move as the only action in every fight. There were also a few odd lags here and there. I did really like the throwing snowballs outside of combat, it was fun to run around and delete the snowmen. Overall, neat mechanics, just a little too lenient balancing for them to really shine.

Thank you for the feedback! It's kind of funny, I've had people tell me that the game is too hard and too easy, so I guess it definitely needs a proper rebalancing.

Short, sweet, functional and stylish, fantastic!

Great concept, with the formal-combat snowball fights. I like that there’s a continuous modifier for every attack.
