I love the art and tilt-shift camera effect (if that's what you were going for?).  The gameplay was smooth and fun.  One thing I noticed was that running and shooting didn't shoot in the correct location, but maybe that was intentional?  Anyway, nice game!

Enjoyed playing it! Was shooting between trees and running about like a mad man!  Strafing would be really nice, the art style is really cool as well. Think different sound effects would be nice and maybe even the enemies talking to give you idea where they are would nice. Being able to do sneak attack was really nice touch. The menu's are nice and simple. Great game! Could expand a lot with this idea!

Really like the voxel art style! The movement and shooting was an interesting blend of RTS, and a top down twin stick shooter. I thought it was fun when there was combat, however the levels and enemy placement made for times when there wasn't much action. Would have like to see levels that through a lot of enemies at you, or guided you to enemies so that there wasn't as much down time. Hope you stick with this project and work on it more because it has a solid foundation!

it’s my plan to expand on this. Probably not hordes of enemies, but there will be other challenges planed.

The camera combined with the art gave a very blurry effect, which made it hard to look at for me. The style was generally good. The gameplay was quite boring and I couldn't tell if my bullets just weren't hitting or if the enemies had HP that was depleting with each bullet. The pacing was too slow, too much aimless wandering until I found packs of enemies.

I never intended to do an action RPG or an arcade shooter.

It was limited time and I had to cut out a lot of features for this. That's the reason why the status is prototype.

And I'm going to add a setting to turn of the postprocess.

I got you, I'm not trying to be mean. Just trying to give honest feedback :) I totally understand it's a game jam game, so is not meant to be fully put together yet.

Great art and good implementation.
I liked how the accuracy drops when moving and shooting.

For me personally it would have been helpfull to get a rough direction to the closest enemy. Starting in Level is, i got lost frequently while getting shot and not knowing from where.

But all in all, good job!

Developer

That's planed for the future. But there are other stuff that needs to be done before I can add it the way I want it.

Art style and sound effects are pretty cool. Been awhile since I used to click to move (made me wonder if there was a military style MOBA) but it worked well. A few line of sight issues, I got  shot before I even saw an enemy and could shoot enemies thru the trees. Overall pretty solid concept for the limited time. Maybe a couple power ups, different weapons, enemies, feedback from being hit and hitting enemies, biomes and you'd end up in feature creep and abandon all hope or at least I do...

I have many of those things in the backlog.

Nice art & controls but it can be a bit complicated to know to line of sight of enemies. I would like to loot health or other weapons from the dead.

Developer

Might add looting things in the future.

Cool stuff! The game looks quite nice and some nice sound to go with it. The controls felt natural.

The encounters felt a bit simplistic - I'd find an enemy, get in position to shoot, and click on them until they were defeated. It didn't seem beneficial to move and shoot or anything like that - maybe controls that enabled that or sneaking up on enemies or something like that could spice up the encounters?

Yes, thats not done, got alot of ideas for for that, time just run out this month.
