This was fun to play and had an interesting idea. There was also quite a lot of variety of rooms and levels. My only issue was that it was hard to tell if I was making progress or not, as it seemed that each portal brought me to a random room with no notion of how close I was to escaping.

Otherwise, the game feels rather polished with a consistent art style and some nice music - I like how the music changes depending on whether or not there are enemies around. Great stuff overall!

thanks so much for your review!

Not going to lie, your audio track was so FIRE. What do you use to create music? I think it was hard to tell if I was attacking - More feedback would be nice. Great submission though.

Thank you so much! The whole album for the game took me 3 hours, one of the tracks didn't even get used lol ( feel free to reply if you want to hear it).  This my first attempt at chiptune, and I used Bosca Ceoili, a free program. It's really well made and I recommend it.

As for your comment on attacking, I personally felt that the swipe wasn't enough either. When the jam is done and over with we plan to polish this, I'll put this on the list of things to do.

Thank you again for your wonderful comment!

really entertaining! Has a lot of protentional if you work on balancing weapons more (some weapons just one-shot everything) and polishing animations! Very addicting and I like how the game plays

Super fun entry! I loved the different levels and the mechanic of +1 the character with items you can keep / use between takes. Reminded me of rogue legacy in a way. Great graphics and arcade music! Controls were smooth and easy to pick up! Awesome little game!

The mechanics were super fun to play XD(I like how after every death, you get an item). The level design was amazing. I look forward to seeing more updates of your game :).

Thank you! We both really appreciate your feedback (i made music, concept and some level design). We plan to polish this and then actually remake it, as this is a prototype.
