The game has really nicely polished visuals and art style with shader work worth noticing! The game is enjoyable, you have both hands on keyboard or can play with a friend, the first level is nice to understand the mechanics and it took me a while anyway, but when enemies come in it becomes extremely hard! :D The music is enjoyable too!

I think this game is really really cool! I love the concept and what you got done in 16 hours is really impressive. The game looks really nice too. The bloom on the white makes it seem very bright and sharp looking. All the assets are also easily distinguishable at a glance which is great when you need to be managing two players at once. I found that the game becomes much easier if you aggro all the enemies onto the player that cannot open the gate and run around collecting medicine. It kind of eliminates the need to manage two characters at once. Additionally, it's a bit inconvenient to use the mouse to continue or restart a level since both your hands need to be on the keyboard to play the game. This is especially noticeable in level 3 where one of the enemies starts really close to one of your players.  Overall though this is really really solid. With a bit more refinement it could be a really neat game! But having this many unique levels and having everything work so well is really impressive for the short amount of time you had to work on it!

The game was enjoyable. I got to the 3rd level, but then things started to get too hard, too fast.

Things I liked

  • the art style, though simplistic, is cohesive
  • the control schema was easy to pick up
  • the music was good

Things that didn't sit well with me

  • the difficulty curve spiked all of the sudden (the enemies pinned on me the second the level started)
  • I needed to search for myself when a level started which most of times resulted in me taking a lot of damage
  • once the white bar is full, there is no indication that the player has died (you can just deplete the health bar to 0 as a indicator)
  • (nitpick) I would have loved to play the game in the browser rather than having to download it locally

i feel like this idea is super interesting and the use of the other half of the keyboard is novel in and of itself and i like to see those unique control schemes. however, it does feel extremely punishing with the enemies in the second level, with health being a resource to manage as well as the "stamina" bar (for lack of a better term) and with the amount of damage they do. i think it would be a bit easier to get the hang of without two enemies in that level, or maybe simply have them deal damage and then leave you alone for a bit or just have them lower the "stamina" bar, as that's a super interesting mechanic that i do really like in this game. also, for just 16 hours this is pretty incredible, having menus and audio and the visual effects tends to be somewhat of an afterthought in my game dev experience so it's really commendable that you've got this "slice" of a game in just 16 hours. well done!

Thank U for playing my game :) , this really helps, I actually first thought that the difficulty curve was too high... but due the time I had managed I just couldn't get it to fix so, I apologize for that to everyone playing my game !
