Cool game! I really like the unique take on the theme, and the visuals are super nice!
Thank you :D
Good job! Visuals are nice, the popping sound after each junction is pleasant, and controls are very easy. The rotating camera was cool, I can see some people getting dizzy from it if it occurred too frequently though, and sometimes it messed with my orientation, such that left would be right and vice versa. Overall though this was a fun submission!
Thx!
Soon I'll fix the camera barrel roll, it happens because I didn't had much time to fix it when the camera angle tries to go from negative values to positives
Fun fact: I recorded the pop sound effect XD
This is easy but really enjoyed it ! Need some improvement !Keep it up
Tanx! I'll do it :D
Opinions are mixed, i say it is very good, my buddy however doesn't like it as much. Camera movement is good, but to slow, i'd use lerp-smoothing. The side picking could use it too, bc now the player just jumps to the side. The procedural nature is really well done and must've taken some time. Upgrades are fine. There isn't a clock showing while playing which isn't good. Graphics are really good.
Thx for the feedback!
I didn't noticed that the game was missing the clock on the gameplay, maybe I can add even a option to turn it on and off
Too it's ironic that the camera is so smooth and the player character just blinks to the other side haha
I love it!
The looks were awesome, the gameplay was simple but fun, and the sound effects were pretty... Overall, the game was pretty polished. The only thing I wish there was is a cool music track! I think a cool music track would enhance the gameplay.
Apart from those, I think you can experiment with this idea and make it turn into a complete game. I see potential here for a little successful title!
Great job!
Thanks for the feedback! :D
I'm so happy that so many people liked it, don't even have words to say it!
Can't wait to start making a full version with the things you all addressed
The idea is really original, it fits the theme perfectly, geometricness is also perfect, game is polished.
Great job !
Thanks :3
Lovely game! Great job! Please rate mine! I rated yours!
Sure!
Thank you!!
I love the different ideas like this. The game looks really cool and i liked the change of camera angle.Really really good game!
Thx!
(actually the camera angle was a bug but now let's call it a feature)
Very interesting concept. Design is top notch. I suggest you display the current side which is activated. It will help the player to see which side is currently activated. Over all it is very satisfying game. Well done.
Thanks for the feedback!
In fact, the game lacks something like this to indicate the player's direction (especially when the camera does a barrel roll XD)
I love the design. The UI is great. The idea is very amazing. Good game, good job!
Thanks :D
i liked the use of colors, the simple art, and specially the idea.
fun game, great work!
Thanx :D
Yeah as some of the other comments said, nice original idea, simple concept, easy to understand and play, though one problem might be that it's quite luck based, and the game can play itself.
That's true, sometimes when playtesting the game would throw 2 skulls at me in a row, so unfair
Wish I could do something to make it less luck-based.
Yeah had that happen to my myself but I had enough hearts to tank it, the only issue being there can be several in a row. So you might have to develop some system that makes sure the player has been offered enough hearts to tank something, though the player will still see it as rng scerwing them over if they missed all the hearts and got killed lol.
That's a great idea! A system that detects how many skulls already spawned in a row would prevent the generator from creating paths with repeated bad pickups
After the jam I'll put this feature in the game :D
Yeah not sure how it works back there, but it would have to look maybe 3 nodes ahead and then determine if that's survivable
I can generate a list of pickups to spawn on the generator and work with that. How it is in the game they just select one pickup randomly and individually
Hey sounds coolio
One of the neatest concepts and execution of the idea! Could use some bgm!!
Thx :D
Some epic bgm would be really nice in fact
The idea is very original!
I agree! I also liked the simple art style and the colors!
Thanks!
I would add a color palette swapper too but I ran out of time
