Good game, would be better with a bit of back story or info at the start along with a few instructions but apart from that pretty cool.
Great game, could have been a bit more intuitive as for what i was meant to do, but once i got going it was great and quite funny.
A really humorous and fun game to play! It's a shame there is not a Humor category, or I would've given it a 5 out of 5. I find the art-style as well as the overall design really charming, too! I appreciated how you incorporated the theme into the game in a soft, at times subtle, and yet effective way.
If I had to give a small piece of advice it would be to fill in the space on both sides of the smartphone with a little something (a cool background or a new mechanic to name a few) so that it does not look as empty and you no longer have unused space!
Well done guys!
Very funny game! ^^ I wish it was larger so I could play more and kill more people hehehe :P
Pretty damn funny, had a blast playing it. The length of the game was also perfect, in my opinion, it ends before the joke gets old. Artwork is awesome as well!
Hi! I'll be playing #CarpeDiem tomorrow on stream along with several others games from the jam at 3:30pm EST. I'll be talking about any interesting design decisions as I play, and suggesting improvements if any come to mind. Please feel free to join me live, it'll be extra fun to chat together about your game while playing it :)
Just saw your stream. Thanks for playing, your awesome feed back and very happy to see you enjoyed it!
Thanks for being there, and making such a cool game!!
I was also watching, thanks for playing our game! It's great to see someone enjoying it, and I agree that it would work really well as a mobile game.
You guys did really well, as I said in the stream! It would be so perfect as a mobile game, especially if you had the jobs appear gradually so as a person goes about their day in real life they get notifications for the messages from the boss and the screechr feed. It would be extra real that way :o
Loved the writing, it had me grinning for a good couple of minutes. Only realized at the end that you can click on the persons profile to get clues though, damn! Not a whole lot in the "gameplay" space but a fun experience for sure and beautiful artwork that skeleton is amazing@!@
Thanks for the feedback, glad it had you grinning. It was a fun project to write!
A simple idea with lots of game possibility. I liked the humour and can see how it could be a fun game to play.
I like the morbid humor and the way you infused the theme in so many different ways. The storytelling via the Screechr app is well done and conveys subtle clues to the correct answers. While the "gameplay" aspect is a little lacking, I think as a narrative-driven experience it was a lot of fun. Well-polished and easy to get into. Nice work!

Good interpretation of the theme. Nice one!
Great concept, enjoyed playing this! Obviously lots of room for expansion. Took a moment to work out what to do but then straightforward. Great writing, art, music, smooth programming.
Thank you! Yes there's lots of potential here for a fully fleshed out game
Love the idea and the level of polish you've reached in only a week is great! Can imagine all sorts of ways to expand this idea into a longer exerience...
We have had a chat about how we would have expanded it to be a full product and it may be something we pursue later on potentially.
Really enjoyed it! Was a little confusing at the beginning, but once I got it I had fun! I love death as just nudging people to their own bad decisions, the writing was funny!
Glad to hear you enjoyed it and found it funny. Best of luck with your project.
