I love the intent of the game to be a stealth mission game :) I also love the snowy environment and how the fox and enemies leave footprints that can help me determine the pattern of their movements. However, I encountered some problems using the polished version where there are still colliders that makes me fall down to the world. I suggest to have a huge invisible trigger below the world so that if a player falls, you can code it to reset to the main position. That is my method on trying to fix temporary falling out of world bugs. :) Another feedback probably is to add some visual clues on when can I go out or exit like particles on the exit or signage that the area is the exit unless that is how the game is intended to do. Great job guys! Well done with the game and hoping to see more from it.

I ran into lots of the same technical issues already listed. By the time I had restarted the game a few times I had had enough. Lots of good work here, just a shame that the floor couldn't hold me

Developer

Yeah, we had a lot of issues, but I believe all of them are fixed now!

I love the idea of the game and how it links to the theme. Characters and the map look pretty nice. Although the audio played for one of the levels, it was pretty nice to listen to. However, on a technical level and design-wise, there are many improvements.

I attempted to play the game many times as a first I struggled to understand the game and the link to the theme. However, due to a lack of collisions, I fell out of the map more times than I completed the game.

Still a good attempt at making a stealth game.

Hi there!  Thank you for your comment.  We had a lot of bugs in the game that we have now terminated! >:D

The fox is really adorable and I love the concept of watching were you leave tracks. Amazing job well done.

I really like the art style! The fox and the dogs both look super cute, and the environment looks very nice as well. As some others have already noted, the audio didn’t always work as intended (sometimes not playing at all and sometimes overlapping). But besides that, I didn’t encounter any issues. Great job!

Hi there! Thank you very much for your kind words! The audio has been fixed now and will play correctly through the level (along with some small bug fixes)>:D

I loved how adorable the fox was in this game, and the general style as a whole! The mechanic of having to be careful where you step or else the dogs might get on your trail was an interesting one, as it encouraged players to be more mindful of where they go and what they do. I noticed the same things as MMG, though: the music was a bit off for me, and I think it started overlapping in one level. I also would suggest turning down the sensitivity a little, as it felt a little hard to stay oriented.
I think it would also be interesting to have the dogs speed up when they saw you, to discourage running straight for the exit, but I know that can be difficult to implement and we only had one week to work on the jam. It was a cute little game either way, though!

Good work!

Hiya!  Thank you so much for your detailed comment.  We have polished up the audio so that it plays correctly through the level & some other minor bugs along the way. >:D

Wow such a cool art style you have here, the game does have a few bugs so it's ok for a game jam for sure , but if you are planning on continuing with this project here they are :
-the music does not play in the right time , some times music is silent , other times music is doubled i think the problem would be in starting the music in the awake event not the start

- the switching between levels isn't so clear i thought the game is glitching

- the dogs don't really follow you they just keep walking in their route

Developer(+1)

Yeah the dogs have a bug  that they will follow you only if they are directly in-front of the player.  We will get that fixed!  There was a light I added to the scene to show the player where to go but I think it got removed when we merged on GitHub unfortunately.  Thanks for your feedback! <3
