That was flippin' brilliant! It even had an opening cutscene! Loved the audio and music, fitted the setting really well. The puzzles were fun too, although I got stuck when a puzzle needed me to use the diamond formation, I think the shape might have bugged a bit? Really ace, well done.
A shame more people haven't played and I'm not sure why. This is a really cool game with a lot of puzzle aspects. Got stuck a few times and had to restart but that's okay. Voice acting was a really good addition and with only 1 member on the team, you really managed to make the characters sound different. If anyone see's this comment, please give this game a try :)
I really loved the way this game started up, felt really classy and I was looking forward to it. I struggled to get what I was supposed to do so after a while I watched the video on youtube. It made more sense then but I still was not able to work out how to get the box buddies to make contact with the blocks. I tried everything I could think of but was left feeling dumb and frustrated. I liked the art and the ideas I could see in the video looked neat. I just could not work out how to play. Lots of work obviously gone into this one.
Voice acting and the short in game clip at the start was top-notch. I thought I was watching an animated movie. I think the camera controls could have been better. The camera can also be rotated underground, which I believe was not intentional. Overall great effort. Hard to discount that it was made in just 7 days!
I love the voice acting. It makes me feel immersed somehow. The controls are somehow hard but was able to manage it during the gameplay. Another thing is that the file size is too huge for the game maybe because of the assets used. Still good job! :)
I had some issues with the controls not matching up with the keys but other then that I thought it was pretty good. Great Job.
Cheers, I uploaded an updated version of it today so hopefully those issues are ameliorated.
On screen instructions were a bit misleading. Said to use A and D for rotation but instead used Q and E. Mechanics controls weren't inherently obvious but didn't take too long to learn and overall the mechanics were actually quite interesting. Most enjoyably though I managed to create a flying machine through a bug and so I give it an unofficial 5/5 for the comedy aspect.
Cheers for the feedback. And yeah Game Jam things I guess haha. Updated controls are on my Itch page.
