Fun little game I liked the art quite alot. It was fun talking to all the characters too.
Thanks! I'm glad you enjoyed!
A pleasant and simple game. I enjoyed talking to the characters, who all seemed well spaced out. All very generous with their bread, too, which is always a positive. I like a jam game that is easy to complete, and holds my attention throughout. This did that. Some audio would be great...
Thanks for playing! Originally the characters gave a lil less bread but I made the game easier as I found out losing and playing again gets a bit repetitive haha. I'm glad you enjoyed the game and maybe one day I'll add more characters :)
This game gave me some feels and at the same time had fun with those sneaky jokes lol. I think I tried it for almost 5x because I don't get how to play the game or how to have more crumbs. Would love to see a direction in the text box/dialog box like "Press Left Mouse Button to continue" to serve as a visual cue for the player on how to play the game. I love the 3d art in voxel form.
Awesome game and job well done! :)
Thanks! I wanted to create a sad but happy game. At one point I felt like the game was taking a dark turn and would've killed the mother but I didn't really want that :P. Definitely need a click to continue button. I had planned to originally but then I forgot and didn't have time in the end! oops!
Voxels ^^ I love working with em, friend of mine calls em Thicxels, this was a really nice game with some nice characters, I loved trying to find out how each character might give me some bread ;) the Soggy Bread was by far my favourite ♥
Thicxels might actually catch on! No idea why they call em voxels haha. Thanks for playing, Fish with soggy bread has not forgiven anyone for insulting "Mr Fox" quite yet!
Simple premise well done. I liked the art style and the writting was good. It has some good humor and I enjoyed my time. Nicely done
Thanks a lot! I hope you had a good laugh at all the characters and their relationships :
I really enjoyed playing your game. The aesthetics of the game were really cool and I also liked all the interactions you have with the characters in the world. It is a very chill game that I thoroughly enjoyed playing
Thanks for playing! I'm glad you enjoyed. You're game was also really fun (though the wolf is much scarier than my foxes haha)
I really like the blocky style. First I was a bit lost and losed multiples times because I wasn't finishing properly the discussion with the first npc, I was always losing when trying to walk away. The game is cute but it's really sad there is no sounds and music, maybe you could add some during the polish if you want, they could really give a super cool ambiance to your game !
Yea I think I'll have to add some "Click to continue" UI as it's not often to click randomly without instructions to do so. At first I had the button as R but realized quickly that that's not intuitive at all! I will definitely try to add music if I am allowed to. The blocky style was made with MagicaVoxel. It's a really useful tool for voxel graphics imo :)
Cute game! The NPCs had some very adorable and funny lines to them when interacted with, and I loved the blocky style and design of them as a whole. The lack of music is probably my biggest critique, but I see that it's already been brought up and addressed in other comments. Good work!
Aww thanks so much. Yea the music really is a issue and has bugged me for a bit now! Hope I can add it in at a later date and maybe some more characters!
Cute game and the idea of the breadcrumbs was really cool. I guess if you wanted to make it a little more challenging you could give the player less crumbs but I thought it was really well done and had an ending which was nice. Well done.
I originally had the characters be really stingy but decided to give more breadcrumbs as the game can get repetitive (game resets at 0 breadcrumbs). This was a last minute decision though haha so I probably was wayyyy to generous with them. Glad you enjoyed though
Cute game. As mentioned below some music would be nice. Also Remi drops bread even in places where he's already been. It's kinda strange :D
Yea Remi can get real clumsy spilling bread everywhere! That or I could just be lazy and did not figure out how to program it otherwise :p . But agreed! I had some people playtest the game and bread going everywhere was a bit of a concern but I just couldn't figure out what to do haha
Really loved this, all the characters and their lines were great. Great Job!
Thanks so much! I'm glad you enjoyed it all! :D
That's the best use of the theme in the jam great work man very creative
Thanks! Took me a while to think of it but got there in the end (through winging it!)
good 3d game. would have been nicer if there was audio but I understand completely. The audio on mine was thrown in as an afterthought since I was in a hurry due to lack of sleep lol. I wasn't able to finish but I bet the story here was great.
Hi! Thanks for playing my game and providing feedback. Music would've been great but ran out of time (started a few days late as was caught up in coursework). Maybe I can add music in the polish phase. Not sure if that's considered adding a new feature though haha
