Wow, this game is amazing. Having the ghosts help you was handled really well and creates a nice puzzle challenge. Redoing loops was a very nice feature, especially when trying to find things to do.
Really great job, a very fresh and innovative game.
I really enjoyed the idea of leaving behind your ghosts to help you in your journey to break the loop! It meant that you had to plan out where to leave your previous loops in the best way to help you in the present, without having your past routes take so long gathering resources that it ends up leaving you in a tight spot in the present. I agree with other commenters that the premise has a lot of potential! Good job!
It's a really great entry. The twist on the mechanic was neat and well handled. I can see this being a well loved game if expanded. No real constructive feedback it was all good. Kudos
Really awesome submission! It took me 24 loops to finish. The mechanic of previous runs supporting your next run is a really neat and innovative idea. The art direction is great and adorable. The main character sprite and animations are charming. The music and sounds were fun. The UI was very helpful and easy to understand, as were the controls and what the objective was. The controls were good and worked perfectly and the ghosts of my previous runs were doing exactly what I did. Definitely has a lot of potential if you were to expand on the mechanics with new ideas! Great use of the theme for the game jam, props!
Took me 32 loops to finish hahahaha. Great concept and would love to play it to strategize how can I make it faster. The problem is that there are some delay on interactions aside from that, the file size is too huge for unreal 2d implementation. Maybe you need to optimize some features in the game. But great job!
Hi, thank you for feedback. The delay on interaction is intentional. The idea was that you get 1 material per 1 second of interaction, but I will think how to make this less clunky. As for the file size, I totally need to remove all the unused assets and clean up the code.
This is a super interesting concept and I think there is so much potential behind the game but I couldn't finish it, I just could get things done fast enough even with building up material which sucks but it was pretty cool.
Thank you for feedback. I will try working on game balance and make it a little easier to escape.
