I don't know what bob Ross has to do with this but its not a bad game.

haha how did bob ross get dragged into this fun game

It is nice. I thought that in the end I will see the "painting" I made..

I loved it! Fun, colorful, and it really grows on you. ;) I was hoping the ending would keep zooming out and show what we painted throughout the levels.

Developer

Aw man, that would have been a good idea.. that's going on the list of things to add

Fun game, the swqelching was fabulous, and mercilessly killing helpless animals by the swipe of a paint brush was entertaining. I played through the whole game. sucks that fun isn't a rating criteria though.

Fun and relaxing, some good sound effects, some satisfying crunch noises, and a way to lose and this game could be fantastic.

Developer(+1)

Yea, unfortunately now there is no fail state. We were planning to have creatures like the centipede hurt you, but didn't get to it with figuring out everything else and fixing bugs. Next year I need a second coder

Fun game and relaxing to play. The controls felt good to use (played using laptop track pad). Wanted to played further absorbing bigger objects, but understood about Jam time constraints.
Not sure about Jam theme, but saw your reply to Psychpsyo below. I think would make for a fun leisure mobile game; maybe add objectives to avoid absorbing or touching certain items to add game variation if you plan to release on market. Fantastic work!

Developer

Thanks! I like those ideas, will probably incorporate them if this goes any further.

It's like agar.io meets Katamari Damacy. Weird, fun, one cell to rule them all.

Loved it, silly and definitely got a chuckle out of me for the Blob Ross ♥

Much love you lovable Blob Ross, keep on painting!

Might be my own vision though being a bit blurry after the whole gamejam and all. Maybe it would've been nice to have a custom more visible mouse pointer. Other then that great work. o/

Developer

Thank you :D

I agree about the mouse, these are the things I don't think about when I'm too involved in building it! Maybe it should be a paint brush...

I really liked this, I think the sound was a nice start, a bit after and it would have been great. Nice controls and really easy to understand.

This is really fun. Was disappointed when it ended. (I want to eat trees and houses and cities and planets and galaxies...) Though I don't really see how it fits the theme. (I guess there is only one Blob Ross?)

Developer

I wanted to keep going, but there was only so much time.

It's got a few theme things: there's only one button, you absorb everything into one creature, and it is all one level that expands as you grow!

Loved it! Well done, you made me feel proud of the art i made today! :D

Developer

Thank you! That makes it all worth it :)

Took me a while to figure out the controls, but definitely worth it! Great fun, happy little amoeba

Loved how the creatures got bigger every level! I can imagine bob ross using this paint to smush cows haha.
