Felt pretty smooth and the power-ups were nice. I just wish it had some audio to it!
The controls feel good, the 2d pixel art is well executed and looks well integrated.
This was quite fun, machine gun especially :p Sniper seems garbage though. Didn't quite get the point of the stats page. The frequency of weapon drops seems a bit too random; sometimes I would be swimming in weapons straight away, other plays it took ages to get any. It would have been nice to feel like there was an endpoint I guess? Or at least a scoreboard.
I didn't get the relationship to the theme at all.
Beautiful graphics, some sound would have been nice :-)
Great artwork for sure! You added quite a few features to make your game stand out in this genre for the jam so kudos there! Liked the weapon selection! Would have loved to hear some sounds in there, but all in all its a great entry! Good job!

Definitely a nice game. Loved the variety of weapons! Though the controls felt a tiny bit twitchy.

Intresting game, I enjoyed the pixel art but I'm not sure how it adheres to the theme. I think some music and sound would be nice and i found if I stand on the top platform. I wouldn't get hit.
Very fun, like others have said the weapon variety is really what shines, I especially loved the flame thrower :)
I really did find this game fun because of the other weapons, and power-ups you could get later on in the game. The controls also felt good to use, and the pixel art was good.
I like the game, but it reminds me a lot of Super Crate Box by Vlambeer.
What is the "Only One"-ness of the game?
While i was working on it, Super Crate Box slowly crept more and more forward in my head. At first the map design was a different but after some playtesting it was a bit awkward and it went more and more in the direction of Super Crate Box. The Only one-ness is in the shared pool of powerups, there is only one pool that affects every creature in the game.
Ah, that make sense! I did notice that speed increased for both me and the enemies, but I wasn't aware that I was essentially buffing them as well. That's a really neat idea!
Really a beautiful pixel art, nice animations and curated graphic effects.
However, it is difficult to understand, the symbols are not explained in the menu, some like the shield I think I understood them (defense?), Others were incomprehensible. And so you can't even figure out how they affect your enemies.
The machine gun, however, is done well, if it had been more precise it would have been OP.
The idea is interesting anyway, I suggest you try again, maybe something very interesting comes out.
