Very cool concept! Placing one block really makes you stratedgize! Would make a really fun app game too! Could see draining my battery playing a lot of this haha! Good game!
Thanks for the kind feedback, i actually plan on doing what you suggested, a lot of work has to be done.
Neat concept, simple buy effective, needed some extra feedback maybe, but i enjoyed it!
Thanks for playing and giving feedback, It definitely needs a lot more work but i hope i can make it into a full game
Love the game! Sound effects could get some improvement, but the game and gameplay itself is super great!
Thanks for playing and giving feedback, you are right about the sound as i just threw in whatever i could make in BFXR within 10 seconds : ).
Simple yet challenging, but I could see there were not many risks taken when you thought about the different ides of gameplay. While this one has a lot of potential, it is also very classic, with not much variations of mechanics between the levels. I understand why you chose to play it safe, but I think some more features would have increased its potential by a lot. Nice job nonetheless :)
Thanks for playing and giving detailed feedback. I do plan on expanding the game into a full release after the game jam and adding new stuff such as rectangles with different attributes , making it so that in certain levels you have to destroy clones following a given sequence etc and even a story, and getting this kind of feedback definitely encourages me to do so. Thanks again.
Great and challenging puzzles! Also loved this interpretation of the theme.
Thanks for playing and giving feedback, I'm happy you enjoyed the game!
Really fun puzzle game! :) I like it a lot!
Nice puzzle game! It has a lot of potential, I enjoyed playing it :D
Thanks, I'm glad you liked it.
Relly simple, but very intereting idea and level design.
Found a bug, don't know if you already know it.
The I placed the blue square on me.
Ah, that bug... As i explained in the description, you can reload the level with the retry button to or just skip whenever it happens. It wouldn't be a game jam game without bugs right? 😂😂
I'm happy you enjoyed the game, Thanks alot for playing.
Really enjoyed this one. It had me thinking. Well done!
Thanks for playing, I'm so happy you found it enjoyable.
Man that minecraft infinite jump block place sucked the fun out of a really solid entry. I am glad I retried it after reading the description and finding out it was a bug. The level design became much more focused and intentional without cheating. Good game!
Thanks for playing, replaying the way i intended and for the feedback, it means the world.
Very original idea, but I feel like the fact that there's no limit on how many blocks you can place makes a lot of the puzzles feel more trivial than they should have been. I like the fact though that there appear to be many valid solutions to a lot of the puzzles!
Thanks for playing the game, as i explained in the description you shouldn't be able to spawn blocks while in the air, it's a bug. Try playing without doing that?
Thanks once more for the feedback, it's really appreciated.
10/10 level design! Really challenged me. Great, original idea!
Thanks alot for playing, it makes me happy knowing people enjoyed my game.
One of my favorite games in the jam! I love designing puzzles as well and you nailed it. Great difficulty curve and you teach the player perfectly. Nice job!!
Thanks for playing and for the kind words " It fills me with determination " 😀
The puzzle is very challenging, the idea is clever, and the skip button is a life saver haha
Glad you liked it. Feedback from you guys encourage me to make it into a full game.
I like the idea, but.. I found it a bit frustrating, sorry :( But it is absolute adherente with the theme, no dubt.
thanks for the rating, i tried to make the game difficult get the frustration part and made each level skip able if you get stuck.
Nice idea! I found it challenging but never frustrating. The visuals are kind of boring, but I get that you can't have it all in a 48h jam. Keep up the good work!
Thanks for the review, i was trying out minimalism for the visuals like that of "Thomas was alone" but it definitely still needs alot of work.
I like this a lot. Your idea is well executed and your levels are great. I encountered a bug when created a block near the red rectangle the red rectangle would disappear entirely but not be considered destroy. Overall, very good.
Thanks, you can use the retry button at the top of the level to reload whenever you encounter that bug. it's not a game jam game if it doesn't have bugs right... 😂😂
Lovely. The idea is nice, controlling multiple players and kill any others to be the last one fits the theme well. Aside from that, the game could use a bit of improvements in the control feel, it is kinda slow and rigid right now.
Thanks a lot for the review ... I didn't want to make the player move too fast so to avoid mistakenly moving into spikes i didn't have time fine tune it or add visuals fo make the movement feel more fluid. How many levels did you play?
Nice job! Sadly, the puzzles were pretty broken because of that bug you described, but even still, they took some thinking through as well as good 'ol platforming. Nicely done!
I liked it! I think the design would've benefited from only allowing the player to place a platform while on the ground. The puzzles were stumping me but I ended up just abusing my ability to place platforms while in the air.
Thanks for playing, and you are right, i intended that wouldn't be able to place a platform while in the air.
Hope you didn't forget to rate, also link me your game.
Don't worry, I didn't :).
My game is http://docien.itch.io/descent
