Fun and simple! At first I thought your sun would lose mass if you shot projectiles through it, which would have been cool.
Love the opening story, the minimalistic graphic and the sound design. The game play is fun if a bit hard for me.
All things come to an end. And that's beautiful.

Hey, we made a GMTK game too. Check it out!
Very well made. I loved the story at the beginning, the music, the spimplistic artstyle. The gameplay felt good but I don't know if I did something wrong but i couldn't choose where to shoot so I lost rather quickly… Some instructions would've been good. All in all very good game!
Thanks for the feedback. I'm not sure about the problem of not being able to aim. Where you click on the screen should be where your bullet goes. I never ran into that bug, it could be the HTML5 version which I have seen cause bugs.
Very nice game. An asteroid style game where your orbiting around a point was interesting and the way the bullet changed when shot through the sun created some good split-second decision making. The way the gameplay linked to the music was really nice too. Maybe this could become like Tetris Effect or something, I think that would be really cool.
Thanks for the feedback. I did kind of think of this as a musically visualization, like Tetris Effect. At first the bullets hit the sun, but then you cant shoot things on the other side, so I turned it into a thing. I had some other ideas like power ups that effects how the sun changes the bullets, but ran out of time.
That was really nice. Very simple but lovely. I loved the way the sound builds together. Also rather hard!
I noticed you can't shoot directly behind you? Sometimes it wouldn't shoot until it spun around a little more. Nice little tactical addition! (Or if that wasn't intended, keep it anyway :P)
Thanks for the feedback. I think the shooting issue you experienced is related to pooling the objects... There are 10 bullets to shoot, if they're all deployed you cant shoot. I actually wish I gave the player more bullets to fire, because it doesn't feel good to click and not have a bullet come out.
This is a weak spot for me. When your actions compose or joins the music it's just beautiful.
Really well polished minimalist arcade game. Congrats!
Thanks for the feedback! The music effect came out much better than the effort put into it, it really helps the experience shine.
Compared to others (and by its own merits too), design is sublime. The music is amazing when you start shooting a lot. It also feels relaxing
Thanks! Once the sound/music was added I knew I was on the right track. It does have a relaxing feel to it, I call it a "Meditative Shooter" ^_^
Really enjoyed the musicality and cosmic themes! Can see lots of interesting bullet hell gameplay coming from this brief snippet.
Thanks for your feedback. I wanted to do some much more with weapons and enemies. I had fun though!
If this came out on steam, I'd consider buying it. It's simple and fun, and would be great if it was fleshed out a bit more.
Thanks for the feedback. I had a little more I wanted to do for the jam but had to rush to submit. I would love to expand on this a bit more. I actually built half an upgrade system.
A+ material. The best designed an executed game I've played so far. Everything is near perfect for 48 hours of work.
Design within the theme is amazing, one star, one planet, one moon, one color, one button, and one objective. Nothing seemed out of place, and all the elements fit together.
The gameplay is awesome too. It ramps up from peaceful to frantic, and there's a bit of strategy to defending, since it's easier to hit things on the far side of the star, and exploding bullets mean you get benefits from letting stuff clump up, but it's risky because the chain explosions may not hit everything.
Then, there's the polish. Lots of little particles, simple sound effects when stuff explodes, a very nice difficulty ramp, and the amazing intro. Seriously, that intro sold the game to me before I even started playing.
Thanks for the detailed feedback!
