Loved the one torch idea and the execution of the mechanic was spot on! The  UI displayed the goals clearly, visuals were juicy, and nothing felt too unbalanced.  Overall an amazing job Salman- lf to your future jams! :D

I liked the aesthetics of the game, and the punchy side too :D

I also made a little video compilation of games from the game jam and you're in it : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JLyp4qxT7Uc

I really dig the art style of this game! The combat is a bit hectic but feels nice too.  Good work!

I adore the feel and looks of this game, and how quickly you turn from hunter to the hunted as the light fades. Awesome!

I love the visuals of the game, simple, very easy to read. The controls on the other hand. I'm not very good at precision timing on these kind of games so I tend to mash the attack and it didn't work in this case. No matter how many times I tried to kill enemies by mashing the attack they always got me mid-swing. One more thing is the option to throw the lightsource. I didn't use it a single time. Not sure if there was a feature behind it that I didn't notice and now I sound like a total ass who didn't play your game properly but I didn't see the use of tossing my only lightsource.
It was a nice exercise for me in patience, although I failed at it :P

Hey, this is a really good looking game! I didn't quite understand the link with the theme, but the controls are quite satisfying and polished for a 48h game jam.

Well done !

Awesome design, as well as juicy and addictive.

Very nice looking and well polished game! :-)

This is one of the most good looking of games I have played!
It is unclear that you have to throw the axe after a level, and it could have been a little less dark!
Liked it a lot!

Love the concept. It's a little unclear as to how your light is slowly getting shorter, but it's really fun.
Even though it's not rated for it, the polish is also excellent considering the time frame. Definitely potential.

Nice pixel spooks, man) Can see a zombie game made on the foundation of this. Or a full fledged maniac with an axe simulator, lol. Anyway, gj)

I really dig the aesthetic and the game feel. Throwing the axe is really satisfying. One thing that would be nice is a bit more clarity at the start. It took me a while to understand what was going on necessarily, especially when it came to how to pass through each room (it took a bit to figure out I had to kill all the enemies in the room). I would have liked a bit more visibility around my character, especially after I throw the axe, just so I can still get a bit of my surroundings, but I understand that was part of the challenge. Overall though solid job.

This game is so stylish! Can't believe it has been done in just 48h! As for the gameplay, I do like it. Feel like a slightly less fair version of Hotline Miami. I say less fair, because of the lack of light enemies sometimes feel like they have advantage over you. However, you seemed to understand that fact and made the game incredibly responsive. In that way I feel like the game is challenging me to have good reaction times.
