I love it. I haven't seen this concept before. The start sound is a bit to loud but still an awesome game

Great game! The minimalist look is real nice, and clearly communicates necessary info. I will say the flickering lights is pretty annoying, especially when you gotta switch rapidly/frequently between lights.

Really cool concept with great level design! I can easily see Mark Brown talking about this in one of his videos. My only complaint is that the flickering lights was a bit frustrating since I couldn't figure out the timing of it.

Developer

Yes! Thank you for your feedback! The flickering was a terrible idea ^^

Submitted(+1)

The flickering lights looked good and with some more predictable timing, I'm sure it could add some fun difficulty!

Developer

Yeah! Because right now the intervals between are chosen randomly... Thank you fo your feedback

Really like minimalistic aestethics and level design. Definitely worth checking out!

This game is really great, I like the original take on the theme. The level design and placement of the lights is on point, and the inclusion of green lights a few levels in really changed up the gameplay and kept it fresh.

Developer

Thank you sooo much for your feedback! Apreciate it!

Engrossing...!! Great minimalistic game

Innovative gameplay, I love how you make the abyss from blackout. Quite difficult for me, but my friend who loves platformer enjoys it a lot!

Maybe it's better if the color of blackout as well as the platform is different so that we can really tell whether it's path or abyss :)

Very polished platformer. I had fun playing it! Thank you for the game!

Developer

Thank YOU for playing!!!

A really cool idea! I will play some more before I rate.

I like what you did with the player making it feel alive, juiciness is everything!

Also nice work with the trailer, I would suggest looking at even more shapes for the shadows!

Developer(+1)

That IS a very cool idea, other shapes as shadows... I got so many ideas for puzzles right now. Thank sooo musch for playing!

Atmosphere in this game is wonderful. Great executed idea with one light.I really like the atmosphere of this game, I think it's the best part of this game.

Good concept. The character controls are a bit loose for my taste (too much inertia) and it might have been better to cycle through the lights with a key press so you don't have to take your hand off the keyboard to use the mouse. But it is a good idea with lots of design space and room for improvement!

Love this very original! Great! The flickering lights were a little annoying, but I love how puzzling it is! A nice unique challenge ^-^

Great job you guys! I mean it! THIS IS AWESOME!

Thank you sooo much!

Cool idea! I think the lights would be better solid than flickering. Maybe I just didn't understand how to wall jump right, but level 6 seemed really hard - especially as a level to introduce the mechanic. Anyways, good job :)

Submitted

Nice idea! But the frequency of the flickering is a little bit irritating for the more complex levels. Are they just cosmetic or have also gameplay purpose?

Developer

They are just cosmetic but it understand how it can be really misleading! Thanks for testing it out!

Really cool idea and use of light. Gameplay is fun and a good difficulty - nice job! Only complaint is the flicker off/on and between colours. The challenge itself is figuring out how to use the lights so it's just a bit annoying when you're in the middle of something and the light changes - I only want to die if it's my mistake! But yes, great game, good job :D

Developer

Many have complained about the flickering lights. I understand how it was a mistake :)

I truly think this game has pulled off the "One Light" approach the best ive seen so far! The lighting actually affects gameplay instead of being a challenge due to lack of vision (Which as a bonus, still does)! Really fun gameplay and a great concept! Nice job!

Would love if you could check mine out too! Or not, no pressure ;) https://itch.io/jam/gmtk-2019/rate/462672?after=20#post-876644

Really nice concept and design that would be even better if some of the graphical glitches were resolved! Keep it up!

I seriously loved the idea.
The fact that the lights actually influence what jumps you can make is a nice twist. And damn, the ambiance serves it so well !

I mean, you never know when that eerie green light will appear and destroy all your hopes of double jumping. It's creepy, but at the platformer level, and I find that really cool, honestly.
Great job!
