The player can't walk. They have no control over their legs. The only way to move is to utilize the shotgun knockback

I enjoyed it more than I thought I was going to with a shoot to move. The SFX combined with the friction on the slide was very immersive and honestly felt very well designed. I am intrigued to see where you go with this, with no movement I think this mechanic would get very tedious for an extended period of time, but utilized in something else you could have platform puzzler in the Portal genre. I am really intrigued to see what comes out of this proof of concept.

It was just the rigth amount of difficult and I am very glad that I managed to play through it. Genious move to have the twitter link be a shootable button!
The idea is great and fits the theme very well, the graphics are really good. It's a bit hard to put my finger on what exactly it is, but it just "feels" intense/scary.
Overall a fantastic entry!
A very interesting way of controlling your character, definetly a fun experience :)
An intersting idea, I think it could be improved by having the shots allow you to double jump as it's extremely difficult to make some of the jumps with only one shot knocking you back.
It would also probably be better to start the game with a full round of ammo instead of having to reload and just tell the player how to reload after they first run out.
This is a very thoughtful shoot to move game, and the addition of the player sliding mechanic makes your shot power / direction choices all the more interesting. I had a lot of fun playing this, would have loved more levels but thats how gamejams are anyway (also love the twitter button at the end haha, very cheeky!)
It's rather difficult to control, but I suppose that's the point.
I liked it.
