The main character acts by himself, but he isn't smart enough so you will need to keep pushing him, silly yet fun!

BOB!!! BOB! BOB NO!!!!!!!

This is such a fun game, and I'm so glad it was one of the games included in Mark's streams. It's an absolute chaotic blast, and while controlling Bob is an out of control nightmare, I was determined to get him safely across the map!

I have a problem ,  I can't play this because the drag is too slow. I don't know why, but the boxes don't follow my mouse properly. I wanted to try this game. I'm sorry but I can't really rate it because of this "bug"

Developer

That's really weird. You are the second one to report this issue but I'm not that sure what's causing it. Will look into that. Thank you for checking it out anyway.

It's a little rough around the edges, but this is already pretty fun.  Great concept and use of the theme.  The music also fits very well.  Great job.

I’m so bit confuisin how to play the game, I try to press the left button, but I don’t know if it’s jump or not. But It’s combine with the theme, because it’s out of control.

Developer(+1)

You play by left-clicking the boxes and dragging them around. Just check the game page and/or the trailer. Thanks.

Ok, Thank you

You are welcome! Thank you for checking out the game

Pretty cool game, I like the concept of helping a character go through a level, it reminds me of playing the Wizard character in Trine where you can summon boxes to help your friends. The character's animations are also pretty funny. Good job!

Thank you!

Great idea with lots of potential of becoming a very fun game! I love Bob's animations.

As many have said, it's really hard. Might be the most "out of control" game I've played in the JAM :P

I already rated your game, but forgot to comment!

Thank you very much!

Oof the title is roasting my buoy bob! I really like the idea but I think bob is just a bit too unpredictable in his current state which makes it hard to plan ahead. But I think after tweaking that a bit and adding a bit more polish this game would be really interesting! I can definitely see the potential for a lot of interesting levels and challenges. Great submission!

Funny! A few things though:

  • The fact that Bob can jump even in mid-air makes this too unpredictible in my opinion.
  • The objects I’m holding can go crazy at screen transition.
  • Very punishing, with this kind-of “random” gameplay Bob should get more lifes or checkpoints.
  • With Bob’s speed sometimes it’s hard to react, like the saw which just pops up suddenly at the end of the first screen. I think the speed is fine though, it’s the camera that’s zoomed in too much.

Again, I still had fun with it.

Thank you very much for playing and commenting. Very good points you mentioned, we will look into all of them if we did a post-jam version. Thank you!

Damn it, Bob!! I loved watching Mark play this on stream and loved it even more when I played it myself, great job!

Thank you very much! We're glad you liked it!!

Clever Mechanic, Good presentation. All you need now is some better level design (it might help to put saws everywhere the player can die out of screen to avoid confusion) and a death effect and this game could be published!

Developer

Thank you for checking it out!
We hope we will implement all of your suggestions in the post-jam version, if we ever did one that is.

When I tried to play, the boxes would follow my mouse at an incredibly slow rate, making it unplayable. I haven't rated it since it seems most people could play just fine and it wouldn't fair to rate based on the 10 seconds I can play. Looks fun though :'(

Developer (1 edit)

Oh! What a bummer. I'm not sure what's the issue with that ...

Thank you for checking it out nonetheless.

Bob is so stupid!    Thumbs up.  Good job!

Really interesting ideas! Really lovely concept and great execution one thing I'd add next is UI just to give a bit more a clearer understanding of what can be done when playing and maybe over the top of select-able objects to make them stand out more :) Otherwise great job!

Thank you very much for playing and commenting!
That's a great idea that I haven't thought of before! Will definitely look into implementing that if we did a post-jam version.

I like the general gameplay and artstyle! All in all a great little jam game. I know you didn't have much time to make this, but here are a couple of things I would want:

- Mute button

- SFX

- Better feedback when you die. Maybe ragdoll physics and collision on the sawblades

- A minitutorial such as popup text telling you what you need to do

Thank you very much for playing and commenting! We will definitely implement your suggestions if we did a post-jam version.

It's a cool idea and fits the theme well as you don't really control the main character and can get pretty chaotic. Trying to move the character where I wanted to can be pretty frustating sometimes though. Neat music and presentation, good job overall!

Developer

Thank you very much for playing and leaving such a nice comment!
Yeah, the character movement definitely could be improved ...
