Very fun game! Although it did not let me move but that was probably just my keyboard. Other than that it is a very fun game and the fact it was made in such a short time makes it even better!

How does your game fit the theme?
I think pretty well. The core mechanic of the game is that you are unable to choose when you shoot or move. Every Five seconds it changes.
Did your team create the art for this game during the 48 hour time slot?
We created all art during the game jam
Did your team create the audio for this game during the 48 hour time slot?
We used pre-existing audio

The idea is interesting, and I like how the UI shows in which state you are. However, I would like it to be more clear when the state switches. Maybe there can be some UI that is shown just below the player character, to make it easy to see in which state you are. I also wish the gun would just auto reload. It's a pain having to do it manually.
In the screenshots I see that there is an ammo counter, but I didn't notice it whilest playing the game. My advice would definitely be not to have almost all of the UI crammed into one corner of the screen. Have the health on the left, ammo on the right, score top middle (already the case), and the current state UI top bottom.
On my first try the movement was bugged (couldn't move even when in the move state). This was luckily fixed by reloading the page. I think it was because my mouse was configured for left handed use, since I switched it back to right handed before trying again.
Well, thanks so much for your honest feedback! Thanks for the advices about the UI, I tried to make it as clear as possible when the state changes, although I was concerned if it was enough.
About the amo counter and health, I wasn't happy of the result, although I hadn't enough time to do what I really wanted to do (I wanted to do something like enter the Guengon, hope you know what I mean.
With your bug of not be able to walk in the first place... I don't really know what happened there, because all my play testers didn't get such issues. Thanks for mentioning tho.
Oh, and really thanks so much for playing!
I played Normal mode. it was fun playing your game and i liked the out of control movement. If you have time, please check out my game :D
The camera shook really fast for my taste but other then that I had a lot of fun cussing when I had enemies close to me. Good job!
this is a very fun game with a very cool concept... Some feature which would be nice to have is that it displayed the hight score when you where playing the round it would also be nice to indicate that an enemy is going to spawn as it can leaad to unfair deaths... Still, Well done
Awesome game,
Visual, audio and feeling all fit perfectly togather,
the change of control is a nice take on the theme
I also like the option for hard mode
Only problem I had was that its a bit laggy,
probably because its in browser,
even though I prefer to play in browser,
maybe have the option to download it for better performance
Really fun and polished! I did find a bug where I was getting attacked by invisible guys in the bottom left corner though. Still left a good rating because it was really fun outside of that bug.
Good execution of the concept and nice visual style, my only criticism is that aiming is made awkward by the camera moving as you move your mouse, so the spot you were moving your mouse to originally changes.
Man, the polish on this is great! And having difficulty options? In a game jam submission? Unreal. Really enjoyed playing this one; stellar work!
Very similar mechanic to our game! Yours is better executed.
Nice entry.
Really tight game! Both shooting and moving feel satisfying in their own right so you never feel like you're waiting for one or the other. Great work!
The most polished game on this jam. Feels so good. You could release this today on the app store and no one would know it was made in two days. Amazing!
Wow! This is such an amazing and original idea to fit the theme and the shaders/vfx are beautiful! The shooting feels and sounds great and the unique mechanism is simple enough to grasp quickly while being emergent enough to create a huge amount of strategic depth!
the old monitor like effect is beautiful. the music is great. I really liked the camera controls. If you have time can you play my game on https://itch.io/jam/gmtk-2020/rate/698144
