How does your game fit the theme?
Player loses the "grip" each second. Player can restore it by being in light. The more you lose the "grip" of the real world the more things get out of control. Level changes etc.

It was fun trying to avoid the ghosts.  The controls felt pretty good, but perhaps he could move just a bit fast.  Still, congrats on submitting a cool platforming game to the jam! Please check out mine if you haven't :D  Also, there is a really cool video on YouTube called "better jump in 4 lines of code' it really helps platform games i think~

Loved the mechanics as a metaphor.  This game has a real theme and it is incredibly original. The one thing I see that keeps it from being the best game in the jam is that the mechanics are not consistent. Sometimes the shadows do disappear when the sanity is recovered, and sometimes they did not. The gameplay could use some testing.

I liked the pixel art and the main hero. I got stuck on the second level and I also think the concept was not very original. I would say you succeeded in the overall presentation side (graphics, music) but kind of failed in the concept and bug fixing department.

Only got past the first level since the white wall never left in the second? I'm not sure if I did something wrong. I think the enemies were unfairly unforgiving. Would like to see a polished version with mechanics introduced slowly one by one.

I can see a lot of good efforts on different sides of the game but I felt  like it was a bit glitched/unfinished while playing it.

I don't know if it was my fault or a bug, but I got stuck on the second  level after not been able to reove the white wall.
I didn't fully understand how the enemies worked either.
