How does your game fit the theme?
The game revolves around finding "controls" such as directions and shooting to bind them to keys. In the beginning, the character control is limited, hence the player is "out of control".

Loved it, I wish I figured out level 13 on my own because it's actually very clever but I had to look down the comment, the ambiance when you get to the last room seemed really cool sadly I pressed the button way too fast but wow that looked really cool! Only complaint I have would be regarding the controls, would have been easier for me to be able to rotate buttons by simply clicking again on them with the same button input to drag em, just you shouldn't hold for it to work! Other than that yeah, loved it :)
This is a fantastic idea and it's executed really well. The only thing was that I struggled to get past level 13 as I didn't realise that you could combine different inputs to get entirely new effects that weren't just additive like the jumping until I read the comments. I think adding a level towards the beginning that really forces you to find that out would be the only thing I'd add. Really amazing that you were able to complete all this in 48 hours!
Everything clicked after realizing you can combine inputs. That was great.
A real standout amongst the messing with input games this jam. Your twist on it was so damn cool and interesting and I'm really hoping to see more of it after the jam.
I think that maybe you started a little strong, with the first level being one of the hardest and almost making me quit because it took so long to 'click' with me. Additionally, adjusting the controls did get a little bit tiresome eventually so maybe theres a way to speed that up with hotkeys or an altered ui? I don't know, just something to mess about with.
Overall, an extremely cool idea executed very well, very nice work.
This is a ridiculously clever idea, the best take on rewiring/swapping controls that I've seen, really like the stacking mechanic, and pretty solid level design to go along with it. Excellent entry!
This game makes me go YES!
realy nice game i liked it alot
Thank you!
It was lagging too much for me, maybe my pc is kinda slow :(
But either way the game looks great! Good job!
Weird, since it's similar to your game in terms of looks. Thanks!
Clever and interesting puzzle game idea!
Thanks!
Clever concept. I disagree with GreenClovers about the first stage timing; that wasn't too bad, but I did have an issue with getting off of the door after it shut due to a slight difference between the door level and the rest of the floor. I eventually got stuck at room 13, though, because it seemed like I couldn't make it to the bottom no matter what combinations of arrows I tried. The brick didn't speed up with 3 arrows on the mouse compared to 2 arrows, and neither a single nor a double-height jump got my arc in such a position that I could clear that many spikes.
Up and down arrows would've helped :) Glad you enjoyed it!
This game presents well, and I think it's one of the best takes of this idea I've seen, I really liked how it allowed you to "cheat" by using inputs together with the spacebar, I would have liked to have seen more with that. I think the first level is too unforgiving with it's timing, at first I thought that blue doors would kill me, not that I had messed up the timing.
Good game.
Thanks! We like how the sandbox nature came out in the final version, too. Glad you enjoyed it!
About "pre-existing audio", the sound effects were pre-existing but the music was made during this game jam. Hope you have fun playing!
