How does your game fit the theme?
Drone Spawn is a shooter game where you can't aim, but you shoot a drone that will look for enemies randomly in area and explode when colliding. Note: I used 2 free textures for the background & obstacle.

The presentation and atmosphere is good. The game could maybe use some more gameplay loops to avoid getting boring after some time, but I think you did a good job. Well done :)
Great game. I had a lot of fun. The graphics look good and the music fits well into that game. Good job :)
Nice visuals, well done! The projectile motion is kind of mesmerizing.
Very polished! This was very fun to play, and it had a strong sense of aesthetics; good and cohesive art and sounds. It felt nice to maneuver around enemies and their bullets while taking them out!
Correct sound approach and well done, interesting controls - feel immersive (but had to connect mouse to play). had fun, goodluck with your game!
Very nice! Among the more polished games I've seen, which is always tough in a gamejam! I enjoyed teleporting around. Hope to see more of it!
Actually for me the toughest part was making the concept of the game. I'm just adding things up as the time goes on and finally became this drone-shooting thing game hahaha
Very polished game, it was really fun to play
Thank you, glad you enjoyed it!
Just a side note, the reason why this game look polished for a game that is made alone in 2 days, is because most of this game is actually hard coded (so that I can be faster at making the game, I wouldn't do that if it wasn't for a short game jam) and I really like the polishing parts in making games, so I'm always too immersed in doing that compared to enhance the game in other aspects.
I really liked the game and how polished it was for being made in 2 days. It's more of a calming game than a stressful shooter, but I liked that. I don't see how the theme fits the game other than the abelites which you can't even use at the start of the game. But other than that, it's a good game. Keep up the good work!
Maybe if the game was stressful and hard enough, it will feels to fit with the theme more since at a glance this game looks like a bullet hell game anyway, thanks for the comment!
Really nice! The game felt really polished and I was fully immersed in the gameplay!
Thank you for enjoying my game! I am very happy if there are people who feel immersed in the game that I made.
The game looks really well and feels complete! I felt no real challenge while playing though. You can expand on this to create something great! As a side note, my high score was 2240.
Thank you! On a second thought, I also felt that I wanted to develop this game even further, but with another approach to the core mechanics.
Just as silvermonger said, I think it needs balancing, but it is one of the most polished game I’ve seen in this jam !
In fact I did the polishing work first because I like it so much and then gameplay hahaha
Love the idea of not having complete control over your fire. The added strategy could make for some neat gameplay together with the traditional mechanics of the genre. It does needs some balancing. As the game stands, I saw no real reason to stop holding both the shoot and move buttons for the entire game, and it wasn't much of a challenge.
Keep it up!
Thanks for your feedback! Actually that's why I've added mana/energy management for the player, and also abilities to make the player think of finding a way to get as many scores as possible. But you're right, it still needs some balancing because the game still feels very easy.
