Super neat idea! Controls were a little difficult, but a lot to work with here! Really great work.

Cool idea. I think it could have been nice if you were able to rotate the dog while standing still, but else well done  :)

I really like the concept, but the unresponsive controls killed it for me. Particularly, I found it difficult to aim the dog. I think this game could be improved by changing the controls so that the dog is controlled with WASD or arrow keys, and faces toward the mouse. That way, you just have to click the enemy while in range and they will get scared

Developer

Thanks for the feedback! I agree that the game controls pretty badly. We actually tried the WASD approach first, but it made moving even more clunky, both when moving relative to the mouse, and just relative to the level. Looking back I think we should've maybe looked into using WASD with 8 static directions, but that's something to consider for a next time :)

The concept is quite funny, I laughed quite a bit looking at the Rambo guy spraying bullets everywhere but not hitting anything without your help!! There is an element of challenge in the game play too, balancing exposing the enemies and also protecting Rambo! I liked the game a lot, good job! :)

Thank you very much!

Neat concept, but to be honest, I had a hard time with the controls. Aiming with walking doesn't seem to work out.

I thought levels were a tiny bit grindy (at least at the start, I had to have my soldier run in circles a couple times to get all the guys), but that might just be me being bad. Nicely done!

I think for the main concept I really liked the game, although the very linear pathing of the guy you're escorting took away from the experience a little bit to me.
It would've bene cooler and more fitting for the character if he was walking around a bit more random. Also if the enemies move more from their positions maybe or some of them(maybe one that was like a commander). Overall i really liked the game and thought the art was really nice! The dog is so cute <3

Pretty good, the premise fits and it has decent enough gameplay. However, it was a bit frustrating to try to get the soldiers in front of the main character since he seemingly turned at random corners. It felt a little bit like a clunky escort mission. If you plan on adding or fixing anything, maybe show the path the character is going to take?

Developer

Hi, thank you for the feedback! We indeed wanted to show the path the character takes, but kind of forgot until the very end when it was too late to implement. Game jam life, I suppose.
