Me and my little brother had fun playing your game! I'm pretty sure you've heard this from others, but yeah, the physics of the game need to be tweaked. Other than that, the game was great in terms of visuals and the concept overall! Its nice to see someone here whose jam you participated in ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

How does your game fit the theme?
Users can control characters but not the belts, as belts are automatic. Abilities are also provided in-game which will make changes in belt so that it goes more out of control.

Hey it's a really nice idea, and I tried to play with my kid but controlling the puck is way too difficult. I dunno, maybe it's a collision problem?
I like the concept and the blocky art style, I think I would have liked to have had more control over hitting the puck but I understand that was the idea with the theme, I just found myself digging it from the corners loads, but I think that's just something that some fine tuning would have solved with more time, other than that it's well made and a good submission :)
Really fun game, really like the idea of not being able to control the bat! Also the art is really nice, especially the characters.
Only thing I think could be improved is the physics on the bat and puck, sometimes it hit's but doesn't move. This doesn't take away from the fun though sometimes it actually creates a funny moment when you're playing with your friend :D Great job for a 48 hour jam!
Absolutely fun game, nice idea, well made art. But i wish you will improve physics to get more accurate stick hits. Well done!
A fun little game for sure! Top marks for presentation, it looks fab! Bet it would be more fun if I had someone to play it with xD
I did feel that the puck got stuck to the top wall on awful lot, I'm not sure if that's due to me trying the game alone or due to the nature of the rotating belts.
Good work! This is a pretty fun game :3
This was very fun! I had some good laughs :) Enjoyed it very much well done guys!
I really like the concept of the game! I think there are still a lot of directions you can go with the game! I'm curious if you will continu working on the game after the jam. A really good job:)
Firstly, I'm glad you enjoyed the game. ^^
As for continuity regarding the game, I don't see myself making it as a complete polished game at-least for a month or two. This game was made for GMTK Game jam 2020, so we're gonna keep it at that because I and the artist have some other interesting ongoing projects and we would like to complete them before coming back to this.
Although, the artist is gonna make an asset pack out of it and publish it on asset store as a free pack, so I'll use those additional assets to improve and polish it more.
But I would like to work on it more later.. Though, I will make another game page of it as I want to keep this game page as a jam entry only.
Fun game which reminds me of the old flash games we used to play!
If the movement and puck control (getting stuck in player) get a bit more flushed out it'd be even better, otherwise good job :)
I love the game presentation, the particles, the sound effect! It would be fun to play with other player, oh well. The puck get stuck sometimes, maybe the stadium could be round or the rotation of the sticks could change. Nice work!!
Well, you can't change the direction of the paddle/belt as they are "out of control"
But regarding ball/puck getting stuck: if you hit on wall or just try to get another angle on ball/puck, it'll be back in center
Also, the puck is moved through Physics so the part of paddle/belt from which you can apply most force will make it move faster whereas the area closer to character's body doesn't make it move. We didn't coded much for puck/ball, it's complete physics.
Hope you enjoyed the game! ^^
I really liked the design of this game! I loved the art-style and the effects that comes off the ball when you hit it. These small details really enhanced the game a lot. The only thing I would change is making the goals bigger. The ball can get stuck on the sides every now and then and creates an inconvenience for trying to score against your opponent. Overall, I think that you did a very good job with this game. Congrats on submitting a game!
