huh this game actually remind me of my game, not the same game mechanic but it still give me the same vibe
Lots of fun to play and an interesting interpretation of the theme! Unfortunately, I must've encountered that bug you mentioned and at one level it didn't register me being on top of the stairs so I couldn't beat it. Looking forward to you uploading the post-jam version and being able to beat all the levels! : )
Glad you liked what you played! We are sorry about the bug and hope you continue to enjoy your time with the game once we can patch it :)
One of the best games I've played this jam. I loved it.
1. Great job using the same color for itch.io background as the game. It elevated the presentation.
2. Simple presentation, but effective. Everything was clear and readable (despite the hand-drawn font, which added to the charm)
3. Puzzle design and gradual introduction of mechanics was on point. I had to stop and think on a handful of puzzles and finished some without using all the potions.
4. I laughed aloud with the humor.
5. Creative theme and fully integrated into the game.
Awesome stuff.
So glad you enjoyed it! Your positive feed back means a lot to us! This was our first game jam so we were worried about scope and presentation so are glad to hear that you liked it!
Saw the game on a stream and I immediately knew I'd like it!
The puzzles are fun and the writing is good ^^.
The wolf rushing animation might be a little bit slow, that's the one thing I can say.
Thanks for playing! The wolf speed and animation is on the list of things to tweak once the Jam is over. May i ask who you saw streaming the game?
It was this channel https://www.twitch.tv/angellan
Super fun game with great puzzle design, and I agree with everyone else that the death screens are hilarious xD my favourite game I've played for this jam so far!
Glad you liked the death screens and thanks so much for the positive feedback!
Awesome!
Thanks! We are glad you enjoyed it!
Wow really great job here! The mechanics are really well put together and the puzzles are cleverly designed. I always find it is quite difficult to design puzzles but you did a fantastic job. I kept being surprised at how many new mechanics you introduced and how many levels there were. I didnt finish it but I played a ton of levels. Super surprised how much you got done in the 48 hours. Awesome job overall!
Thanks! We actually designed all of our mechanics then designed the puzzles around them, this helped keep us focused and made sure the mechanics were all interesting with a lot of millage we could get out of them.
That was a really fun little puzzle game. I like how all the elements were mixed together, really made me think.
Thanks! Your feedback means a lot to us!
Loved the death screens!
Thank's! They were a bit of a last minute edition but we think they add a lot. We are so glad you enjoyed it!
Loved the death screens!
Excellent little puzzle game. good fun. Well designed levels and also liked the werewolf theme too. Played it through about 10 or 11 levels and only stopped when I bumped into the stairs bug you mentioned. Will add to collection to complete it another day.
Thanks for playing our game! We are glad you enjoyed it and are sorry about the stair glitch. Some testing has shown that resetting the level with 'r' fixes the stairs, though this seems inconsistent and I am honestly not sure what causes it. Sorry you couldn't finish it!
I enjoyed my experience. Really fun and right balance on control or loss of control. Good job!
Thanks! We are glad you enjoyed. If you know anyone else who might like our game please share it with them!
Since launch we have found the itch.io scales the game down on smaller screens which breaks things, most notably the stairs on some levels. We have a fix but cannot push it until voting is over, So until then please be understanding and try to play our game on a larger screen. Thanks!
