This got my brain engaged while still being pretty relaxed. Awesome job!

It would be great if the rules were visualized in some way. Even just a pictogram would help.

Developer(+1)

Yeah I'm thinking about remaking the rules after the voting period ^^

Submitted(+1)

Good job! great concept!

Submitted(+1)

It makes me think about which is the best option, it is always choosing a rule right? hahaha, anyways good work!

Developer

Yeah, rules are more constraining so it is always best to choose which one you want.

Submitted(+1)

Enjoyed it! Like the concept and it really make you think, awesome job!

Fun game, it's really original for me.

Developer

Thanks!

Really enjoyed the game, though it took me a few turns to really understand the card placement rules I selected were the only ones that mattered, I tried to abide by actual solitare rules at first.    I do think it needs some more play testing, I am not sure why, it felt unbalanced.   Once I figure out the rules I never really felt in danger of missing a round, especially once I could start doubling up rules so one decision was satisfying 2 constraints.    I also never once felt it necessary to chose a card, it was also better to play the long game and chose a rule that worked with my current rules and cards.

Developer(+1)

Yeah I realized a bit late that the name solitaire implied rules that are not in the game (at the moment)
Balancing is kinda random (sometimes the game can be impossible sometimes it's easy as pie)

I do plan to fix those issue once the rating is over ^^

Thanks you for the feedbacks

This is a really creative interpretation of the theme, giving the player control over one aspect but taking it away from the other! Not something I've seen in the jam so far!

Developer

Thanks!

That's a very cool game! I enjoyed it, it's a really "chaotic" concept hahaha! good job! rated!please check out my game too :D

Developer(+1)

Thanks

Will do :)

Submitted(+1)

Very creative way to use the theme. I liked the game a lot, fun to play and see what income you get this time. With some balancing on the rules it could be really good.

Submitted(+1)

Nice puzzle game I liked it a lot ! thanks for the game :)

Submitted(+1)

Great game, with a little more balancing on the scoring and some polish would make a great mobile time waster :D

Developer

Thanks, I'm considering retaking the game to make a finnished one ^^

Submitted(+1)

Very addicting, I made 74 ^^. I don' get the difference between stacking and playing cards on others. But overall, very original and a very strategic game. Well done =D

Developer

You have the high score!
Right now stacking card is the same as placing them on empty spots, I don't know if I'll change this later

Thanks for playing =)

Submitted(+1)

Not bad! One thing I would change is to simplify the rule such that it will be clear to the player. Maybe some simpler rule + color coding / icon to represent the rule. After simplifying it this could be a big mobile game hit! Good job!

Developer

Yeah, lot of people are suggesting to have the rules symbolized by cards, I'm thinking about it.
thanks for the feedback =)

Developer

Mark saw your comment and immediately agreed ^^

This is Unique concept and has neat strategy angle to it too!! Loved it! Consider Post jam full version of it!. Great work!

Developer(+1)

Thanks!

I do want to keep polishing this idea

I'm very confused I just have a blank screen with two arrows. No amount of keys or clicking seems to do anything? I'd be happy to rate the game if I could play.

Developer

Arg!
I had one instance of this happening! maybe if you close and reopen your browser it will fix the issue D:
What browser / OS are  you on ?

Submitted

Tried again with same result. Using Chrome on Windows 10

Developer

Damned, there's nothing I can do, I'm so sorry!

Submitted(+1)

It's a very robust game with great idea considering game design. I really like that player has a small control of the situation, however, they can't control everything. Nice work.

Developer

Thanks !

Heh, my final score was 22! This is an interesting and challenging spin on Solitaire.  You can pick your constraints or you can pick your card and get a random constraint, it really adds an extra bit of strategy to the game.

I do wish there were some sort of sound effects though, but overall the presentation is good and this is a good game, great job!

Developer

Thank you ^^
I'm surprised by how much people want sounds, I should remember this for the next jam.

Submitted(+1)

Wow what a cool twist on Solitaire!  I think my friend would love this!! Congrats on submitting a unique card game to the jam, please check out my game if you haven't :D

Developer

Thanks for the kind words :D
yeah don't worry, I play the game of every commenters ^^

Submitted(+1)

Love the idea. that you have to choose which thing you don't have control of makes this a really interesting strategic puzzle game.

some cards may be bugged tho. a card read that I couldn't use the center column and center row but placing it on the right of the center row didn't count as a mistake.

Developer

Yeah, several people notified me of rule bugs.
Luckly it's not an over punitive bug.
Thank you for the feedback =D
