I really like the puzzles, I had fun solving them. The game mechanic seemed weak at first, but level design was so genius it actually amplified its fun a lot. It's one of those games where the game mechanic goes hand in hand with level design. I love it.
You really made me think hard on some puzzles. And I especially like the last level! You really have to think out of the box *wink* :)
Overall a really impressive game. I could see this winning the jam. Bravo.
A very interesting puzzle game. Good job! :)
fun and interesting puzzle idea. the combinations of copy/cut/paste even after starting the level was a neat idea.
Was a lot more fun that I thought it would be at first glance :)
Well, at first I thought that the idea is that you place turning command things and that's it. Then I saw a cool idea of placing not only turn commands, but also walls, and that was clever. The thing about Ctrl-Z'ing stuff to place it somewhere else amazed me.
I love how you introduce these concepts gradually using level design.
I love the mechanics you've come up with here. I think if you do some work with graphics and sound design, it'll become an amazing puzzle game (I mean, it already is, but you get the point).
Excellent job!
P. S. I think this game should have gotten more ratings.
I was quite pleased when I thought of the CTRL-Z :)
I don't think this could go much further, at least not with the CTRL+X command, which would break most later levels. I could cut (teehee) the command or introduce it much later though. I've actually just started learning pixel art (see the updated cover image for the game :) ) so I could use this as a case study.
Anyway, thanks for taking the time to play it and give feedback.
I liked this. But it gets quite fast at some point, which is ok if Z, X, C and V are all next to one another but that isn't always the case. On my keyboard layout the Z key is halfway across the keyboard, making it quite difficult.
That's a great point. I originally planned for a slider to control the speed of the level (the code actually works, I just didn't have enough time to put in an UI for it... ). Though rebinding would break the theme in this case.
Your game is honestly super creative, I like the way it controls, its super intuitive the puzzles are interactive and require thought I really enjoyed it and I think there is a lot of potential there!
PS: Ur art is not bad at all!
