Well that was unexpected...When I finally got around to having both players armed and I tried to fire an arrow, the combination of buttons I had made it so that chrome closed the tab and moved me to another tab. Maybe a different button scheme for the HTML version might be needed or at least a way to change button configurations.

Normally I would say "Doing multiplayer games for jam is a risk and a challenge since 99% of your audience will most likely be playing alone" but I don't think you meant "player" as in "you require two players" because I found it fun, challenging, but fun to try to do everything myself...Weird at a time especially since at the start of the game WASD is on the right when I expect it to start on the left but overall nicely done.

Thank You very much for the feedback. I am sorry for the key binding issues, thanks for pointing that out. I think I will at least make a post-jam update to the game that allows for configuring buttons, as well as change the player starting positions.

You are right about multiplayer being a risk, but making the game was an interesting exercise. Still, playing the game alone is a bit cumbersome, so I am glad that several people gave it a try anyway :-).

Hello, fellow Godot developer and Linux user. :-)

Awesome game, I really like all the puzzles and the gameplay feels very smooth. It was a bit difficult to simultaneously control 2 characters, but it added some fun challenge.

Thank You, it is nice to explicitly see that someone has completed my game. I was a bit worried about the puzzles being incomprehensible or bugged... :-)

Cool idea.

Thanks!

@bluemeerkat nice game, really like the puzzle design though you can definitely make it more polished on the art side. Overall good job :D

Thank you, yes my games tend to suffer from "programmer art".

Really fun game! I love the artstyle, and the controls feel good!
Great work!

I really love this game, and I agree that the art aesthetic here is one of my favorite!

I really like the combination of puzzle solving, adventure and exploring, and fighting.

A lot of times I kept forgetting one player or the other and confused like "why can't I move?" and then I imagined the other guy going "Hey, I'm right here buddy! Did you forget about me??"

I also loved that you could go on running water and have one on land that can kind of help you stay put.

I definitely spent the longest playing this game over any other I've tried so far. You should consider submitting this to Newgrounds especially if you're doing any more work on it! This is totally front page material right here.

My only real complaint is I wish the key to attack wasn't shift since attacking a bunch of times on Windows means I get the "Do you want to enable sticky keys" popup...

Developer

Thank You for the kind words, I am glad You like my game! Also thanks a lot for taking the time to give such detailed feedback, it really helps immensely. I didn't know about the Windows key issue (I don't use Windows very often), so that's good to know. I haven't decided if I will continue working on this, but thanks for pointing me in the right direction!

Although its not as flashy as the other games in this competition, I think I liked this art style the most. Really reminded me of the game Baba Is You.

Developer

Thank You! I have heard of "Baba Is You" but never played it, maybe I should check it out.

A pretty obvious idea given the theme, but really well executed and with a lot of neat ideas. It was definitely engaging just wandering around, figuring out what to do

Developer

Thank You! I went with the first idea I had.

This was fun! Super tricky playing both controls. I like the style

Developer

Thanks!

This was a really fun and good looking game. I found it pretty addicting and satisfying to progress as I found keys and cleared sections. Though, maybe it was just me, but I was kinda lost at the end since I really didn't know what to do. Fantastic job

Thank You !!

Yeah, I think I should have made the objective more transparent.
