A bird puking game is something I did not expect going into this jam. But here we are. XD
It raises many more questions than it answers. Are the red birds the bird children? Are the eggs in the background the actual children? Is the puking just a courtship display geared towards scaring away rival birds and/or predators? We'll never know.
As for the gameplay, the click and drag controls felt a bit unwieldy for me - I found it difficult to aim the puke and scare off the red birds. It is a bird-themed game though, so I enjoyed it.
It's beautiful! Nature is certainly a marvel to observe.
Hilarious interpretation of the theme! Those bird tongue waggles and teeth are the stuff of nightmares though... hahah
WOw! The fidelity with which you've simulated these birds vomiting is really impressive! And even more so, considering you did it in, what- 42 hours?
Oh, well, thank you, I pride myself on my ability to break down games into their most basic elements, to then build them back up again. And luckily, in this case, I happened to know a lot about bird puke.
Mmm, well a games master must be familiar with their subject matter, I suppose. And I know magicians aren't supposed to reveal their secrets, but- I mean, really how did you do it?
Look. I know how to animate. I merely applied those skills to bird vomit, it's really as simple as that!
You're lying. You know what I want to know... HOW! HOW DID YOU SIMULATE IT SO ACCURATELY!
ANSWER ME, COWARD!
WTF
