Huh, that is a GOOD idea. How did I not even think of that? I will definitely update that after this. Thanks a lot for that.

Thanks for the advice! I decided to go try decreasing the speed of the fish and increasing the speed of the ship. I think it's a lot better now that the fish are more like semi-stationary targets. Will put that out after this is done.

I did it after dying for like 20 minutes. And I totally didn't just spam the shotgun and DEMOLISH that bass. Honestly though, the swordfish are really hard to dodge, I think they could use more telegraphing, both in terms of the direction you have to dodge and time. It sometimes feels like they only show which way they're going just as they hit you. It's also just not super clear where you have to dodge so I mostly prayed for the gun attack because that one I know how to block. Also bass fact? Also is this screenshot too spoilerific?

This is really cool, the visuals and the gameplay are great. I got to about 8000 points when I looked for the pause button and read through the description. I think you really succeeded in getting that flow state. The main problem I have is that after a while I just wondered if the difficulty would spike up because with 3 hearts it really is hard to die. But overall this is amazing!

Thanks for playing! Yes the controls are indeed pretty finicky, hopefully the roll controls make sense. I will definitely try to fit in key bindings in future.

The presentation is really nice! I kind of wish the fish moved and turned a little faster. Was stuck on the second puzzle for a while and I'm still not sure what the logic was for the solution, I sorta just stumbled on it.

Hey this game really brought back some long stashed away memories for me. It was a lot of fun, and the music is great! I do think though that the images should be higher res though, it's quite noticeable.

thanks omar

Please refer to the game page if you have trouble with controls. And for more fun/pain use voice typing.

Thanks for playing! You probably didn't miss any commands, the commands are in the game page if you are wondering. Sorry, I forgot the submission page can't fit much information.

Thanks for playing! No, there's just the 3 main commands but combining right/left and jump does give slight differences in jump length.

Thanks for playing! Yeah I definitely should have explained that in the game instead of relying on the game page. I forgot the submission page has no description but by then it was too late. I also definitely should have put in rump and lump.

Man, this is hard. To be honest, I can't beat the game. The jump is cool, but it takes too long to reliably dodge the slimes. I think you could make the spikes a little clearer.

Uh oh, this game makes mine look like garbage. This is really great, I honestly think this might get top 20. I don't know how you polished it this much in 48 hours.

Nice! I feel that the coins concept could have been capitalized on a bit more but they are pretty ominous as is.

Nice! I only had to murder 21 friends.

Good game. The art and music is pretty good. There's a lot of content for 48 hours. Pretty epik!11!11!!1

The concept here is nice! at first I thought the only gimmick would just be swapping characters but the part with the magnets was interesting. I think if you expanded on the different properties this could be a full game.

Nice game! Unfortunately I didn't get the chance to really spawncamp pacman but I did sit on his powerups and that was pretty fun.

I like the idea, it could definitely be expanded on. I don't think I finished any quests but unfortunately that didn't really matter because of the tax collector bug. If this helps, there was another visitor who got stuck on the counter before that as well.

Thanks for playing. The up arrow suggestion is actually a pretty good idea. The end screen does do that, I just found out.

Oh, yeah that part is a bit buggy and hard. Have you tried typing "right jump"? That does help sometimes on slightly longer gaps. Thanks for playing.

Why no among us????? other than that good game.

Thanks for playing! I definitely underestimated how hard that part would be. Plus it's kind of buggy.

This is great! The atmosphere is very immersive, the menu music is beautiful and the art style is really unique. There was a bug though where you could only turn a certain amount and the mouse jolted around some of the times I played as someone else mentioned.

It would be a fun multiplayer game. epik

Thanks, there was definitely a lot of stuff I wanted to add in but had to cut for scope. Yeah, that bug is pretty bad but unfortunately I didn't have enough time to fix that.

epik gaem

Thanks for the feedback! It should have been explained further that you need to get to max speed first, then use the grappling hook to get the kick to reach lightspeed.

Yeah, I kind of plopped together the results screen, so that will have to be fixed and there definitely needs to be a tutorial if there are to be future versions. Glad you enjoyed it!

Really cool art style and great plot! The UI is simple and effective. I don't really know what to critique since story is not my forte, but I guess the music could be made to fit the situation more and be generally more tense. But none of that matters because of the amazing server room.

Super interesting idea! Though somehow I did not make the connection that the order goes by the order when you bind them until the 2nd last level, the mechanics are really cool, and there is a lot of potential for depth, given that you can bind more buttons over the course of a level. Also I enjoyed the waffle but there's something off about it...

Really cute goats and nice music. Very simple but interesting concept, the shape of the triangle forces you to change the vertices as the goats go along. A shadow showing where the goats will land would help with some of the levels, but overall it's really neat!

I definitely should have added a better tutorial to explain how you gain speed and reach lightspeed. Basically you have to get to full speed, then fire a grapple and release which 100% required more explanation, and maybe if there is a post jam version, the screen shake could be toned down a bit.  Glad you liked it!

Very charming and sweet story and a unique take on the theme! Did not expect any text adventures in the jam, but this pulls off the theme well.

It's beautiful! Nature is certainly a marvel to observe.

Yeah, the grappling hook could've been put together a little better and is still very buggy and there may be too many asteroids in the way. Thanks for the feedback!

Nice game, the art and music are really great, and the levels are interesting, especially the ones with an enemy on one side and boxes on the other. It'd be nice to see more enemy types to prevent the player from circling around the room.

Yeah I probably should have added an actual tutorial or something. The time dilation basically slows everything else down and you increase it by speeding up. I'll make sure I do that kind of thing more in the future. Thanks for the feedback.

I really like the presentation and concept, but as others have said, it's pretty easy to pick up all the ingredients before any enemies arrive, and the towers don't seem to kill many heroes, so it'd be great to see this expand to make it more necessary to use towers and all.
