This was definitely rough around the edges, but I liked it. If this is what you can produce in a night, I'd love to see what you can produce in a year. Thanks for letting me play it.

Interesting storyline, but I feel like letting the player draw their own stuff would have benefitted greatly to the fun of the game and the immersion the player feels as a bad artist in a big studio. Although I acknowledge the extra work that would take in a 48 hr jam :) Nice work overall

I love a narrative style game and to implement something like this in 48 hours is great. With some improved art and animation  you could tell a great story in this format. I lived the scribble drawings by waving the mouse across the page - super simple for a player but still felt like drawing! The game did feel quite slow to me - movement and dialogue particularly. If things were sped up and bit I think it would make it feel smoother to play through. All in all a nice interactive story game!

Odd and the perspective is kinda weird? but interesting concept

If you don’t mind me asking, what do you mean by perspective? Like the narrative themes or the physical camera angle? Thanks for the feedback!

Submitted(+1)

The Camera angle in the beginning to go into the room

Ah I understand. Thanks for the feedback!

The game looks really clean and polished graphic wise, i didnt knew what to do after doing the first storyboard thoe.

Nice game thoe dude

Oh no! I tried to make it clear in the dialogue that you needed to click the “clock out” button on the top left hand corner of the screen to progress the story but I can definitely understand how you could miss that! I’ll add a warning to the description if GMTK Jam allows that. Thanks for the feedback!

I am always amazed by games that manage to add a story line in this short time frame. Well done!

Game about drawing? *hold my beer* Your game has a nice environment, good dialogs and story. I like it! I was hand-drawing all the assets for our game - have a look, if you want. Would like to know what you think about it.

Nice pixel art, and the idea for the story is great. Good job!

I had some fun with the story and seeing the storyboards that come up. I just felt like it got a bit repetitive ( checking the same things over and over again) and with that the walking speed felt a bit slow because of that. I did like how the story ended though.

Developer(+1)

Yeah I can definitely understand the repetitiveness since my original plan was to have different areas and mini games and such 😅. Thanks for playing through the game and providing feedback!
