Great art style and atmosphere! Gameplay was a bit hard because it was hard to tell where were the actual edges of the hitboxes.

Developer

Thanks for the feedback! ;) The hit boxes are currently small squares, but we intend to make it more intuitive!

Congratulations! For now This game has the best abmostphere and unique art style! I LOVE the art! Nice, hard and short! You need to make it a bigger game! Again REALLY COOL art style!

Such a unique and fantastic style! Can see the clear link to the theme too, and steering both the boat and keeping the payload out of trouble is very challenging and rewarding. Good stuff! :)

Developer

Thanks Vollando! <3

This is one of those very all round visually pleasing entries, awesome job to everyone involved!

I'd love to see what you guys come up with next!

Thank you Zombiedance! 😊 Our plan is to expand significantly on this prototype, it really sparked a lot of ideas for us <3

I liked the lovecraftian vibe and the overhall mood of the game. Nice toll boat mechanic. I don't regret installing this on my computer, but I would be even happier if I didn't had to 😅

Developer(+1)

Cheers, Arthur! And thanks for the install 😅

Wow that's some atmosphere, how did you get that graphite pencil look? I want more of that!

Hi, thank you for your kind words.
I'm the artist, and I used a brush with lots of noise and no anti-aliasing. Mostly black and white, with some gray. And very high resolution, later downscaled.
Unfortunately, the style still needs some work as it can flicker a lot, and is heavily dependent on screen brightness and resolution. I think/hope these problems are solvable. : )

Visually very striking!

Thanks for playing!  😊

Really unique and cool art style, definitely sets the mood right! The first time linking the ship my heart skipped a beat, I think this is the first game of the jam I saw to use "Joined" as a bad thing, that creates such a tense situation traversing the whirlpools! Just one thing, the Created with GameMaker thing I had to install maybe will make people skip the game

Developer

Thanks, Diogo!  😊
