Congratulations for being the only game in the bunch that I came back to play again. My son loved this game and we spent way too long trying to find the Stay Puft Marshmallow Man outfit but were never able to find it. I did once get big enough to knock the trees. I'm also old enough to appreciate the SkiFree references.
In my denseness I'll admit, I didn't initially realize I needed to match the style of the snowman to the characters moving around (I actually thought you were just going for the biggest ball initially), but once I got that it was quite fun. The graphics are fantastic for a Jam game and the concept is quite fun.
I love the idea of gathering snow and costumes to build your own snowman, the only thing that's not that good is the turning speed which could be a little bit faster because currently depending on how lucky you get and how the trees and stones spawn you might not be able to doge in time.
Also it seems like If you die while gathering any part you restart the whole game which feels pretty bad if you already collected the body. Also it would be amazing if the stones or trees would open their eyes when you hit them because they currently look like their sleeping. Besides that tough amazing game and well done.
Yeah, we wanted to make the rocks "wake up" when you hit them, but we didn't have time to implement it.. As for the trees, they look at you and scream when you're big enough to crush them :D
Definitely a fun game! I think the physics makes you want to keep going, but maybe if there was more control over the acceleration, it would be cooler, no pun intended.
