Interesting concept with stop / go mechanics of the shadows. Would have loved to see some use of torches or something to interact more with that!

ummm...yeah so that happened...Not sure if there was supposed to be sound but it looks like so long as I moved forward and went over the hills I was fine. There was never really a sense of a threat or anything like that so I spent most of time going "Not sure what is going on here" until I got to the gun and I guess that is game? If you were going for a twist shocking ending then I think you nailed it, otherwise I'm just seating here wondering "what just happened?" :P

Damn this was frightening! Bigfoot running at you was terrifying, played the web version so had troubles with the controls at first but managed later on. It is really wonky on web, For another Wonky controls game check ours out! https://itch.io/jam/gmtk-2021/rate/1081258#post-3733182

This game was pretty great! I found it hard to look around however.. keep it up!

The web version has some weird issues with the mouse staying in the frame, I'd recommend download it OR it does support controller input which seems to work on the browser version too, so might be worth giving that a go.

Thanks for the feedback!

Omg this game gave me anxiety in the best way hahaha. Bigfoot OP!!! lolol Nice game! Totally agree with some of the other commenters that the atmosphere fo just like mountainous, middle class home laden area and then bigfoot gotta go fast. Very nice!

Bigfoot suddenly sprinting at you out of nowhere is way more terrifying that it has any right to be.  I will never feel safe on a cloudy day ever again

Mountain > Bigfoot. The ultimate strategy. Also a running feature would be nice, maybe with stamina to balance it out

Developer

Sprinting & stamina was a feature that got cut due to time which is too bad, I'm also aware that the player has a traversal advantage over bigfoot, but Unity's pathfinding AI can be a bit wonky and it was something I couldn't fix given the time. Thanks for the feedback!

Slenderman but with Bigfoot

The atmosphere is wicked! Its a really weird sensation with the low-poly and the dread that comes from Bigfoot. Very much "It Follows" vibes.

Very cool idea, was a bit off trying to move the camera in the browser version but the download works fine! A stressfull game trying to hide from bigfot!

Developer

Yeah, I've also noticed some weirdness where the mouse doesn't lock to the browser. It does actually support controller input though, and that does seem to work with browsers!

Cool Idea!  The browser version is a bit laggy though.

Developer

It really is, I wish I would have had more time to tweak the build to get it more stable

Developer

The downloadable versions have better draw distance, I would recommend them
