I see a lot of these types of games in this jam (makes sense due to the theme). Yours used different character modesl and speeds - your puzzles leaned into that a little bit which was good. Unfortunately, like many of these games I've played this jam, the first few levels you can just "play" each player separately due to the lack of needing both actors to concurrently perform a task (e.g. step on button at same time, go through door within seconds of button being pressed by other player). This is even more pronounced since you can "exit" them at separate times. Consideration of these factors to force true simultaneous play would have really made it shine. Still, a good entry.
The fact that if one player enter the door he will stay untill the other one reach the door was something I didn't thought about in the first place, but It turned out that on some levels it was imposible to make it both at the same time. Also it means more difficulty, which some people will find it too hard.
Definitely is something to keep in mind and maybe in the future I could add a hard mode or something that force you to end with both characters at the same time.
Thank you very much! <3
The different speeds between the two player characters is what makes this game unique and fun. We really enjoyed that mechanic. Would love to see more levels and maybe a couple of different music tracks in a future update.
I'll keep it in mind.
Thanks for the feedback :D
My dog pushed my player off the map leaving only the dog to stand at the door all alone.
In the description, on the game page, there are some instructions if this happens. Basiclly you have to restart the level (with 'r').
I know its not ideal, but I didn't have time to solve this issue. Sorry :'(
To make it more clear I put "R to restart" in the background of every level.
The fact that both characters have different speeds adds a lot of depth to the puzzles! Good work! :) The only thing I didn't really like, in my opinion, was the music. But apart that, the game was very good!
Thank you for the feedback!
Sorry about the music, but it was the first time I did it myself.
The dog sprite is adorable, nicely done.
<3
Great game. One of the players is smaller and one is taller, you should add a mechanic that uses this. Kind of like a small hole in the wall only one of them can walk through or something.
I thought about it, but time was coming short. Anyway, maybe in a future update...
Thanks for the feedback!! :D
Cool game, I've seen a lot of games where you control 2 players to solve puzzles, your entry is different in that regard though since the two players have different speeds, that small change makes puzzles and platforming with them far more interesting. Nice job!
Thanks! During development I tought about letting both with the same speed, Im glad I didn't change it!
Loved the controls! The animations are also fun to watch:) nice job
Thank youuuu! <3
Cool game ! The physics is a bit weird for a puzzle game but you manage to make good level that goes well with it !
Thank you so much <3
I love the sus cat
Its supose to be a dog xD
This game is fun and interesting, but the movement is sometimes a bit odd. There was a jump on an early level that I kept falling short of but finally managed to do after many attempts. It didn't bother me too much though and I still enjoyed the experience. The characters are also cute and kind of remind me of Amongus :)
Hey! Thank you very much. I guess that level was the one with a "wall" in the middle, I knew it was a bit hard, but it was posible. There were another jups (on the level with 3 buttons) that I had to fix because it was nearly imposible. At the begining, it was supposed to increment difficulty gradually, but I think I didn't got that one...
Btw I didn't try to make the character as the ones in amongus but then, when I was almost done, I realized it was quite similar. Anyway, I think it looks kute :)
The music is weird, but hey, Original!
I am glad that I can lock one character in the goal!
Thank you for the feedback, really appreciate it :D
Its the first time I make music (without coping xD)
