The player is joined to their client by contract. If the client's healthbar runs out, the player loses. Overall the game is a parody of the most annoying type of mission found in video games.

Really cool concept. It gets a little too hard too fast imo, but it's still really fun.
I feel like this is a result of me underrating my own gaming skill. I'm like "Yeah, it's kinda hard, but I'm probably just bad at my own game lol". Didn't have the time to get anyone else to playtest. Glad you enjoyed it anyway :)
I enjoyed how the game played. Tutorial was fun and generally mission difficulty was decent. I believe the game could become way more interesting and scalable with improvements. Good game!
Tutorial is really clean. Gameplay fun. I can see this being a game with more stuff and getting money from the people to buy upgrades and stuff
Thank you very much! Tutorial was a big prio for me since I find myself struggling in this department a lot and wanted to get it right this time. Very glad someone noticed this effort :) If I were to expand on the idea of this game, different playable classes would be something I'm planning to add. Each of them with different combat patterns and ways to interact with their clients.
This is a great and is one of those games that manages to be comedically self-aware. Nice one! Fantastic art, mechanics, and sound design.
I adore the ultra-low res pixel art style, the animations are good, and I enjoy the sense of humor. The game felt a bit (or maybe a lot) too hard, I clicked out of the game a few times due to the mouse not locking to the screen, and I disliked that the dialogue box covers the most important part of the screen (the bottom where enemies are spawning).
I could see this being expanded into an rpg/"upgrade" game and released commercially.
Thanks for the comment. I agree that the textboxes really get in the way of things. They also cover up the client HP bar. The clicking out of the window can be prevented by playing in fullscreen (press F to switch). I'm happy to hear that you think it has the potential for a fully expanded game :)
