Art looks good!
Nice game! I accidentally kept jumping over the chickens at the end, because I would stop. Was this intentional? If it's not intentional, then just on the tilemap collider go down to used by composite, add a composite collider2D. Then freeze the rotation and position. GG! I enjoyed it!
That is the cutest chicken. The games principle is great definitely needs polish and some more challenge. Audio feedback would be great as well. Hope is was a great practice session for you in your single day participation in GMTK jam!
The chicken looks so cute! I really got attached to the lil one after guiding it through the game :')
Cute little game concept. I got to the end of the level and then kept bouncing the chicken for another minute or so after hoping there was a second part for me to land the chicken on haha. Nice job!
Cute chicken. I think the idea has legs, you could pursue it further.
I like the idea
this is soo cute. with some polishing, i think there's some real potential!
This is a great mechanic. With some more levels and maybe some restrictions on how frequently you can use the spring, this could be even better!
cute! with some polishing would be a v fun game
A nice looking game. I quickly got into a pattern where I just kept the mouse in the same x position, because the chicken stays in the middle of the screen. So I wonder if it could be more challenging to have a bunch of rooms where the camera stays still, and when the chicken gets to the other side of the road (I mean screen), it goes to the next level. Just to force the player to move on the x axis as well.
I also couldn't get it to bounce very well. It felt like I needed to catch the chicken, and then move the spring down and up again to make it bounce. Presumably one of the bugs you mentioned?
