We took the idea of the classic game "Breakout" but chose to make it about protecting the tiles, rather than destroying them!

I enjoyed it! I really liked the artstyle and simple yet fun concept. Good Job! I hope to see it further developed.

Really cool idea! I would suggest to have the sprint bar so that the design will be more sensible for player to manage that "resource" rather than holding all the time.  Overall the presentation is great and I quite enjoy the gameplay.

This is an excellent game!

My favorite part, and maybe one of my favorite mechanics in any of the games I've played so far, is the teleport to the other side of the block- this is absolutely brilliant and really expands the possibility for high-level gameplay.

I'm not sure why I would ever choose to not sprint, if anything I think it would maybe be better if the player always moved at the faster rate and could press shift to slow down temporarily for greater precision. Maybe that's just me though. Same goes for parrying; I'm not sure why I would want to make the fireballs go faster since they are harder to avoid after. I think having a health bar or timer on the fireballs to know when they will run out would help inform decision-making for whether or not to parry.

Overall, this is a really good game, and I can see myself playing it more when the jam is over. Nice work!

I really like this design! i don't think I've seen a circular take on Breakout before, and the added mechanics like flipping sides, parrying, sprinting are cool. If you happen to build on this idea after the jam, it might be interesting to provide an additional bonus to parrying (maybe a perfect parry can destroy fireballs occasionally). I might also suggest adding a disadvantage to sprinting, or having a stamina bar so you can't sprint forever. Very nice work on this one, overall! Great choice of music, and the pixel art and color palette is really effective!

Cool idea! Was very pleased to find through playing it that fireballs destroy each others.

Nice game, congrats!

it is very strategic because I can change the fireball's angle intentionally!
I love the idea, nice entry :)

Simple but great! I love the idea and just the fact that the fireballs can detroy each other gives the game a fun side objective. Lovely!

Really great job! The graphics are really nice (love the touch that the knight's head rotates in the direction that you're aiming). Nice music although the sounds could do some work, this game also really need juice, but other than that, it's really creative!

Neat idea and little game!
It gets chaotic near the end, I love it!

Maybe adding some powerups would be fun? Or the ability to shoot a pellet yourself, but with the catch that can also destroy blocks?

With a little more animation this could be golden little game!

Loved the game! The pixel art is good and the gameplay gets chaotic really fast. would be cool to have some power ups (maybe other pad or the ability of choosing where to deflect the ball). Also would be cool to have some feedback when the ball will vanish. i noticed that they vanish when hit it other, but i feel like one vanished after some time.
