How does your game fit the theme?
In my game you have to decide the quests for the heroes, configuring each quest to fit the heroe abilities. Normally you'd play as the hero and pay little attention to this quest givers, so I thought to reverse the roles and let the player experience being a quest giver.

Did your team create the vast majority of the art during the 48 hours?

Did your team create the vast majority of the music during the 48 hours?

The idea is cool, but I don't understand how to lose or win.

I can put up any quest for any stat to max for 1 gold and make money infinitely.

The only way to trigger a losing state seems to be to choose to spend too much gold on a reward, but there is no incentive to increase the reward past 1 gold.

Is the goal to make as much money as you can in XYZ time?

Am I missing something?

Hey thanks for the feedback.

The only way of losing is indeed spending all of your gold. Sadly I didn't had time to implement a win condition and a proper challenge, this build is more like a game loop concept.

Spending gold only accelerates the time required to complete a quest, but needs some balancing.

Thanks for playing!

As a concept it's really good!

I immediately knew what the game was asking for, and was super excited to get stuck in with some numbers. Are you planning on expanding on the concept after the jam?

Yeah, I want to update the game with a few ideas and the feedback I'm reading in the comments.

Hello there, fellow NPC quest-giver simulator dev! We really enjoyed your game! It appears that while not every quest *has* to be about violence, putting the violence slider up every time seems to have no consequences. This seems like a feature, though, in my opinion ;)

Hey, thanks for the feedback. Glad you enjoyed my little game!
Sadly I didn't have too much time this jam to make the game I had in mind. For example, I left out several "game over" conditions and, of course, balancing. One thing I had in mind is to be able to lose heroes, if you send them to do a violence quest (for example) and they are really bad at it.

Maybe I'll expand the game in the future, had a blast making it.

Thanks again for playing!
