I really like the idea and concept here! unfortunately I couldn't really get the adventurers to take the jobs, tried 1,10,20,50,100 gold pieces for hunting (1) sheep or goblin and none of them took it, asking for more money from the creature also didn't seem to increase my total?

Developer(+1)

Yeah I just fell short of hooking everything up for that all to work, sadly was only another 30 minutes or so needed.

What there is here is definitely enticing, just a shame that there isn't more.

Developer(+1)

Hopefully soon, some sort of game will materialize.

Very interesting, kinda reminds me of Neverending Nightmares in a way? I can see this going really far. Great work!

Developer

Thankyou! Hopefully more soon

Great art, enjoyed just looking at it. There's lots of potential here: hints of economic and reputation systems, plus the whole "feed the beast" thing. Hope you decide to flesh it out a bit more after the jam! I'd love to see where it ends up. I worked solo on my submission as well, and this was my first jam. Hardest part is all the stuff you leave on the table.

Archibald, what a guy. Legend.

Developer

There is an annoying amount of stuff happening in the background that you just can't see or access. I very much hope to get it working soon and get the whole village drawn. It is always heartbreaking deciding that you need to not do something for time but thats the magic of the game jam.

Thankyou for playing!

Very visually striking. Reminds me of the game The Longing. Although it's unfinished right now, I'm interested in seeing how the concept is borne out with further development. It's got some legs on it to really run, I think.

I love the art in The Longing, thankyou! I would love to have been able to fill the screen but I didn't want to rush out a bunch of buildings and scenery or spend way too much time on it.

I really love the art! The game isn't much right now, but this definitely has potential!

Developer

Thanks, hopefully there will be more soon. Already its coming along much better with a bit more time for my brain to process.

Nice concept, I could see this being a full game.

I also really liked the art style. Good job!

Developer

Thankyou, I will definitely add a bit more to it over the next week or so to get it to my ideal state for the original idea.

looks absolutely stunning and I love the world and concept fantastic job.  gameplay loop is a little eh but I like the idea.

Developer

Thankyou! I would like to have the creature grow and control other people like a blacksmith or wizard, unlocking new quests.

Developer

Thankyou anyone that is here to try my game. Its more of a slightly interactive art piece at the moment as the game loop didn't fully materialize in the 48 hours. Working solo and having been taking a break from game dev for the last 6 months was maybe not the best idea but I still like what I ended up with. Please leave a comment and I will definitely try your submission.
