Hi! Let's start with the positives: the atmosphere and the polishing are really well done! In a weird sense, when I finally created my setup (more on that later) I really felt like a giant mecha pilot, so that was awesome!
Now for the negatives, I have three complaints: the first one is a blocking bug that has to do with the Melle Attack draw pad, that no matter which shape you draw, it always registers a triangle (Double Cutter), making it impossible to complete the game. The second one is that I had to open two different windows of the game page on my second monitor to tell me which buttons are which because it was impossible to understand it from the game itself. I don't know if it is something you wanted or something you didn't have time to implement. The last one is that this game doesn't really fit the theme of the jam (how is this game about roles reversed?)
In the end, good job for making this game! Good luck for the jam and for your future projects!
Excelent concept, great visuals, but how confusing it is. Also I couldn't make melee attacks work, game just doesn't respond to anything I draw, so I can't make it far
The game's visuals are fantastic, and I like the premise. I tried to play blind, and the only thing I couldn't figure out was how to do different melee attacks until I read the Control Guide. I'd probably like a little hint as to how I died, but overall this is cool!
The concept is great, but the game is a bit overwhelming because there's too many buttons to remember which to click. Maybe try adding some short description under each button to indicates what it does.
