Neat idea but it does need better controls. Maybe come keyboard interaction to change between trains and available goons. it is also jarring when I am in the middle of moving a goon into a cart but then the goons shuffled and takes it away from my cursor. I like the idea and the easy to understand mechanic. With a little more polish it would be even more enjoyable. Good job

Developer

Thanks for playing!  I wanted to give this a lot more polish to actually call it a game but I just ran out of time.  I'm glad the foundation is coming through though.

It's a very, very interesting concept! Unfortunately, it's hindered by being slightly janky- I thought the controls, and even the camera was mostly fine, but the actual gameplay itself is a bit janky. The agents starts killing the player seemingly before even being put down, where often time I don't even have time to properly place them, and the collisions seem to be hit or miss. But, I think with some tiny bug fixing, this could be a really fun game! I still enjoyed my time with it, so good job :D

I have no idea what to do but I think it's kind of a tower defence game. It doesn't really involve any strategy since I just found myself dragging and dropping characters at random. The camera movement is little bit annoying that you have to play and pause every time you want to change it's position. Dragging it with a mouse or arrow keys would be nice. But the pixel art is on point and the music is on point and really fitting. If you would add like special abilities and different play styles for different agents so you need to choose wisely what to spend your currency on, it could turn out to be a pretty fun game. Maybe you will expand on the idea in the future, good luck!

Thanks for playing!  I put a bit too much effort in to the art and theming that the gameplay suffered a lot.  The camera was a last minute afterthought which is why it's so bad and I didn't have time to balance the tower defense aspect.  I wanted to add some more Super Auto Pets inspiration to make the characters feel more unique but it just didn't happen.

Nice Game Didnt Understand Anything Though Lol

Developer

Thanks for playing!  There's not much to understand cause it's pretty unfinished.

The concept is good, but the controls felt a bit jank (I played the mobile version, prehaps because of that), and I didn't feel like my decisions had consequences. Like I tried to put the people with higher ranged stat further back, but with no awail, and the other stats didn't really affected decision making so I ignored them. The names are funny though.

Plus pont for mobile support!

Thanks for playing!  The game it entirely unfinished and unbalanced so you didn't miss anything.  I didn't get a chance to fix it so it is just dragging goons in front of the hero and that's about it.

Interesting concept, but camera and bugs killing all fun for me. Like half of my goons just going straight to hell and another half appears in air and another half appears behind agent after they go through the door.

But I can see that you put a lot of work into this game. Hope you enjoyed making it!

Thanks for playing!  I had some fun putting it together but I'm really bummed I didn't have enough time to get everything working so I could do the actual game idea justice.  Definitely learned some good lessons about putting less effort into the theme and more effort into the gameplay.

This is one of those games where the idea just doesn't come together. The pixel art is nice and the idea is cool but the gameplay has nothing (you just keep respawning people until the enemy dies) and the camera control is awful. Don't feel bad about it tho, all game devs have ideas that don't work, but unfortunately I will have to rate this accordingly. (Looking at the other comment it looks like I'm missing something? Please inform me if there's more but from what I played this is my verdict)

Developer

Thanks for playing!  I totally agree.  I was pretty disappointed with my performance on this one.  I like the idea but I did not do the gameplay well at all.  The camera was a last minute addition and I had no clue how to balance the game.

The Game Feels Really Good, I Find It Fun That The Charaters Are Named After Different Types Of Cheeses, The Stats Of The Charaters Are A Bit Too Much, They Should Vanish When You Place Them Down Aswell, That What I Feel Anyways. Everything Else Is Cool! Keep Makin' Games!

Developer

Thanks for playing!  I focused a bit to much on theme so I'm glad the game feels good to play.  I had no time for balance so I aimed for easier rather than harder.
