Simple, cute, and arcadey! Could probably build on the concept more by adding more fish and different hook types! :D
This is a cute little game! I liked going into it totally blind, unlike most of these arcade-style games in this jam. It felt like there was a real designed process of discovery in figuring out the mechanics there - no idea if that's intentional on your part or not, but it felt good. The art is very cute too! The white borders help make everything visible.
Nice game! Was fun to play, though I found it frustrating that I could hardly move inside the seagrass. I died twice to the fact that I could no longer or at least hardly move upwards out of the seagrass. But apart from that I had no issues and the game is well done with a nice soundtrack in the background, good job!

At first I did not realize you were meant to collect those small things, I just avoided the obstacles and wondered why I only had 1 score! Maybe a small animation to pop them out to the player? Great job!

I managed to get 81 points! The art style was charming, the music and sound effects were nice, the gameplay was intuitive, and it felt pretty good to play. I honestly can’t really think of anything you could change to make it better. So all in all, well done on your first game jam game!!
