Super polished interface! I was surprised at how capable the ghost seemed at dodging most of the bullet patterns. The game started to feel pretty easy after a few rounds - most of the time I was just able to win by dragging out all my cards at once with no penalty - but I still had fun. Nice job!
grabbing the cards was a bit hit or miss half the time but good job otherwise. Good concept and would be interested to play it again once expanded upon.
I think the idea is a very creative take on the theme. I like the cute hand-drawn art style the game has, everything on screen was very clear and readable. :)
I think the concept has potential to be expanded upon, since currently, I can beat the game just by spamming whatever card appears in my hand. However, I think that would be an extremely unfair criticism to make for a 2-day game jam submission, especially given how polished the game is. ;)
Wonderful job! Hope you both continue to make more games in the future! :D
Cool concept that fits the theme well :)
I like the idea and the implementation of the cards within the game.
Also looks super polished. Nicely done :)
Nice concept well done :)
Really liked the idea and cards! It's not a big problem, but maybe the ghost could appear in other places of the map or teleport mid fight.
this is so clever! really cool idea to map different bullet patterns onto cards rather than just having different upgrades, cant really say anything negative on this! great work!
This is a really cool game!
At first i though it was going to be an actual bullet heaven like vampire survivors, but im glad it wasnt! haha
i really liked the mechanic of choosing the patterns but i find myself too often looking more at the cards than the action itself. In a way this was kind of cool because it made the gameplay really fast paced as you try to avoid his attacks at the same time that you are trying to beat him.
Loved it! :)
Fun and clever! Would love to see more cards!
loved sending bullets out through cards, what a creative idea!

love the idea haha
I really liked the card based mechanic. Getting to choose the patterns was really fun and satisfying
Very clever subversion on the classic touhou formula. I absolutely love how this all looks and feels, it almost feels like being given too much power! I feel kind of bad for the little ghost.
The levels are surprisingly complex and challenging despite that though, you wouldn't expect it to be hard for the one with all the power! By the time I got to level 10 I was definitely reeling.
Fantastic game though, I'd love to see more!
I recognize Spell Cards when I see 'em :) It's a great idea and I love the art style.
Presentation-wise, we could do with some feedback like a preview of what the spell card is about to do. You could probably scale post-game jam by having different kinds of bullets like lasers and circles which have totally never been done in any bullet hell ever nope.
Something I noticed is that the right side of the level is almost never used. In Some Other Bullet Hells, there are Spell Cards that also move the boss. Perhaps instead of throwing a bunch of different spells at the player, a smaller selection of spells with a larger variety of mechanics would have created some gameplay complexity.
No I'm not salty I couldn't beat level 10.
thank you so much for this particularly detailed comment, it really made my day ^^ these are definitely some awesome ideas that we haven't considered before!
Hey, your comment on our game page made mine too! All the best for your future jams!
Like the idea with the cards. Looking good!
Level 10 kicked my butt, loved the presentation and card mechanic. Great work for this game jam!
really polished looking game, amazing for 48 hours
Really enjoyed your take on a reverse bullet hell! Level 10 was really hard!
Despite how simple the gameplay loop is, it's super gratifying and I loved it!
For a 48hour jam it's amazing!
I really like the art and the game idea. Basically reverse bullet hell. Fun to play.
Awesome! Reminds me of reversed EnterTheGungeon
