I know this wasn't the only game to explore this idea, but my expectations were exceeded with the gameplay, and absolutely love the tropes with players in RPGs that were in the 'storyline' and just the sheer amount of events that could happen. Great job making this 48 hours!
This was fun! I think my only complaint would be waiting for the right items and characters to show up, but that could be solved pretty easily by having a log of adventurers that you've met or who are in town so you can assign them quests at any time. Could totally see this being a full game!
Very fun idea, being the towns manager finding and handing out quests
Very fun idea! I enjoyed the different characters you got into this one. With some additions to gameplay and clearer goals this could actually be a really fun experience! Great job.
Lotsa NPC simulators this time round hahah. We have similar ideas but different executions, it's great to see! There's a lot of potential here! Would benefit from less days where nothing happens, I feel like that's where most of my rent went.
I think this idea has a ton of potential. I really like the idea of having to guide the adventurer with the right information or items to have them finish the quest right, and also to need the right type of adventurer matched with the right type of quest. Great execution for a jam too!
I really liked how you collected items and quests from people and have to figure out which items are needed for which quests. Sometimes I couldn't figure it out though (e.g. the "interesting place" one).
The guy selling tuna popped up a lot, as did the guy telling me about the "interesting place". Like, dozens of times. I'm assuming that's a result of a low number of interactions having been made in the limited time?
Cool idea, nice execution; some unintuitive things (e.g. trying to understand what to do with the "interesting place"), and some tedium (though that's the life of an NPC, I guess).
this game is funny, its like own idea but in different way, i like it
i dont want your tuna is fun though
