Good concept, some sound bugs on level end made the experience a bit rough unfortunately ^^'

(the "voiceline appearing" sound kept playing ver fast)

Other than that, idk if i did it right but i just spammed punches from behind every enemy, i get that the aim is to feel fast paced kind of like hotline miami, i'm guessing you couldn't do guns in sucha  short time !

Killing an aggroed enemy feels incredibely difficult without a weapon, maybe give the player some kind of way to do that ?

Other than that, the game feels pretty good to play with a kb and mouse, and i'd really like to see a version that explores the concept a bit more, keep it up!

Thanks for the feedback! Yep there's a lot of bugs (mainly in the parts I worked on towards the end of the jam)! Also quite a bit of work to be done on the combat system, its way too unforgiving (and also unclear as enemies instantly kill the player when they enter attack range).

The sounds!!! I think you broke my headphones. I got excited when I got the sword but then I lost it immediately :(

If you have a moment I'd appreciate it if you'd also check out my team's game!

Thanks for the feedback! Sorry for the sound bugs haha. Indeed the weapon is really bugged, you're supposed to be able to throw it but it just makes it disappear (holding right click to aim then left click to throw).

I'll check out your game!

This is an interesting idea and I'm looking forward to its development if you ever continue this! Great job on your first game jam!

Interesting idea!!! I think the punch is very short, I couldn't figure out how to kill the first enemy because it was killing me when I attacked. The game really has a lot of potential!

Thank you for the feedback, indeed the combat should have had more clarity to it!

A fantastic idea, love the concept. A lot of good work done here, well done!

An interesting puzzle game, but attacks didn't really have much feedback to them, and when you get seen you die a bit too quickly.

I really like the idea, & it has a lot of potential, but the game was really unclear.  Killing enemies seemed inconsistent.  But be glad you got a working project done for a game jam!  That's no small feat!

solid idea, my wish is that if it would have been 3d, it would have been much more immersive. you can always add more content after the jam.  Great job!

This is a solid idea for a game. I wish there was a bit more content because while I can imagine the possibilities of such a system, the game doesn't explore them. It's also nearly impossible to kill an aggroed enemy, which would be fine if the game was supposed to be about stealth (for example, you can kill one of the two enemies in the final room with an attack through the wall using the stick, and then sneak up on the final enemy from behind), but since it's advertised as an action game, this feels off. Nevertheless, if there is an update after the jam is over, I would love to try it, because this is a really cool concept and I could see it going in a lot of different directions.
