What a cute little game! Dropping objects is pretty buggy, but it sort of adds to the charm of the game. Adding win and lose conditions might be fun, though I also enjoyed the chill vibes of just playing around with my arms. Nice job!

Developer

Thank you! We wanted to make this into an endless type of game where you try and get as many points as you can with a highscore system, but we were really limited with our time and experience. We tried to add the lose conditions in the last few minutes, but failed to do so! We had all the sound effects for taking damage and the collisions were all in place, but we weren't able to pull through in time. Thank you for playing our game!

The endorphins I get from the silliness of yeeting a shark into the stratosphere is unparalleled

Developer

We wanted to expand on that by yeeting items into other items, but we didn't have enough time to do so! I'm glad you found it just as enjoyable to throw a shark into space as I did! Thank you for playing our game!

Kraky is so cute <3 loved the cozy and chill atmosphere, I'd love to see more of it!

Developer

We'll be working on this game hopefully after Mark releases his video of the top 10 games from this GameJam!

Very interesting game idea, feels like with a little more time this could have been top 10

Developer

We definitely agree and we wish we had more time to work on the game, but due to issues of our original team not being present we had to make the game in 24 hours instead of 48 hours!

Really cute art and love how you control the player! Wish there would be more of a game though

Developer

Thank you for the comment! We completely agree, we wish we had more time to put more stuff, but figuring out the coding of the tentacles took some time due to our original team having issues with joining into the GameJam.

The controls feel pretty good, and the style and aesthetic is cute! I'm not sure if there is really a traditional "game" here as everything seems the same regardless of what you do, but the bones are there for some sort of Octodad-esque arcade survival game! I could see this game gaining levels, a score system, or some sort of co-op even! The bones of something really fun and cute are here. In the future, I would also recommend staying away from .rar as your zipping method, as it's a little less user friendly when players are going from game to game so fast. Regardless, nicely done!

Developer

We completely agree with your statement, we initially wanted to put so much more into the game, there was going to be the volcano erupting in the background and raining fire that you would have to use both tentacles to protect the boat with, a tsunami that you would have to block with your tentacle, cannon balls being fired at the ship, and much more. However, we had some issue with our original team and only had 24 hours to make the game instead of the 48 hours and had to cut a lot of those ideas and failed to make a scoring system, a pause system, a restart button, and all the other basic stuff a game would need. We know the bones are there and we think we'll try to make something more with it later!

What a cute fella! Loved the art style and game idea! Nice job!

Developer

Thank you! We were deciding either between a pixel art style or a more 3D style, but ultimately went with the 3D style due to our inexperience with Pixel Art coupled with the 48 hour deadline. Who knows, maybe we'll remake it one day with all the features we wanted!

So far the most enjoyable game for me from what I've played) It looks good, sounds great, it has very chill and positive vibe, Kraky is adorable) What more do you need? ) Great job!)

Thank you! We know the game itself is still missing a lot of things we weren't able to complete in the given time, but we thank you for playing the game for a bit and enjoyed it!
