The character placement was a bit weird but fun once you understand it. Art and flavour text was a vibe and absolutely hilarious and that's what made the experience really enjoyable.
Honestly I dindn't understand the game [a tutorial would be use useful] but the visuals look good
Hmmm. It seems like the screen was a bit “zoomed in”, so I could not see the whole GUI. Made it hard to play the game :/
I had the same problem it seems
Came for the verbose title and stayed for the funny flavortext and sfx. Unfortunately, placing units was really unintuitive. Do i click once to spawn the thing under my cursor, and then again to drag? And I can only place in between rounds?
I unfortunately found it very confusing when I can place my units. Once I got into it, the battles were not very interesting to watch either: the knight usually just occupies the corner. The CRT effect made me feel quite uneasy as well :(.
I appreciate the creative title of the game and wish you best of luck with the game if you go on to fix those issues after the jam is over :)!
I really enjoyed the theme, Gamplay, and artwork.
Something I'd recommend is it not sending you back to level 1 every time the knight spawns as it makes placing things in the later levels more difficult.
I love the concept! I found figuring out what to do a bit tough and had some difficulties reading the text of the cards, but the designs and flavor text on those cards was hysterical.
