Cool concept! It reminds me a bit of Retro/Grade. Chasing shoots instead of avoiding them is pretty fun.

However I had a bit of trouble reading what's going on. More than often I lost because there was a bullet offscreen that I didn't see. Not having all the informations forces to run around in the hope of not missing anything. Although I was able to follow tracks of ennemies' bullets, often it was already too late when I reached them.

The game still work though, and provides enough of fun. It also has a neat presentation, as well for art than for music! Congrats for making it!

the visual of showing the bullets coming back to the turrets are just a good idea! great job!

Nice game and interesting idea.

This was fun! I made it to around 50. One thing I'd advise doing is put your controls in the game description page, people may be overzealous and skip through a description at the start.

got to 78.6!  I really like the concept, and being able to track the bullets back to the source was really helpful for finding the turret and the collectibles.  Half of the challenge was locating the turrets, but once I figured that out it was smooth sailing.  Nice work!

Thank you, I appreciate it :)!

The art is really cute! I feel like the camera being zoomed in without any indicator on where the orbs spawned made the game immensely more difficult. Also in the instructions, I think rather than having two separate images of the orb in its different states, it would be less confusing to either have one of the images, or an animated image. For a few attempts I thought I was looking for two different things.

I also think the mechanic with the bullets shooting backwards was really cool! But I still don't understand the purpose of the orbs, x)

Game was fun though, great job, <3

Hey, thanks a lot for all the feedback :)! I tried to make the orbs spawn very fairly so that the player would get to see them, but I agree they are still easy to miss sometimes. I totally see your point regarding the instructions. As for the orbs, they are actually meant to be bullets you have fired in the past at the turrets :)! Cheers again <3.

It took me a few tries to finally figure out how to play, and I feel like it would be better if the region of the game completed the whole screen so the camera movement wouldn't be necessary, so the player could see the whole gameplay area all times, but I really enjoyed the concept and the visuals. Congrats :D

Thanks for the feedback :). I wanted to make the arena a bit bigger than just one screen, but I understand it has some drawbacks as well. Glad you enjoyed it nonetheless!

Really sweet game! I loved the music and SFX — they felt very intentional, albeit a bit loud at times — and the art (background in particular!) is also stellar. I feel like it took me a bit of time to get a handle on the time reversal aspect of things, but it's a creative idea, and y'all did a great job overall!

I like the art and after a while I understood how it was supposed to be time reversed. A bit mind bending but fun to immagine the green shots leaving the enemies were actually shot by you in the "past". Great job!

Developer

Yes, you got it :)! Thanks for the kind words, I appreciate it!

Good job here! You picked very interesting idea.

Really fun, intuitive and pretty easy which lent to a nice arcade feel. Also, the music was really unique! The breakbeat jazz fusion combination is great! The SFX were a bit loud and jarring at times, but overall the music direction was great and the gameplay was fun and smooth.

Developer(+1)

Thank you so much about the music! And I agree, I didn't really have time to polish the SFX and implement some volume sliders like I wanted to – c'est la vie!

Very fun game! I like how it plays a bit like a twin stick shooter, without being a shooter at all. Nice artwork and great music as well.
