Interesting to see how all of the questgiver games differ! I made one as well :)

Overall game looks really organized to me. The font felt a little too hard to read, maybe just a personal opinion. Some 8-bit medival music loop and sound effects would add so much polish. Good job!

The idea is great :) Though often there was literally no good choice for an adventurer. Loved that there are different strategies to counter magic and non-magic beasts (by stats or by giving a magic enemy to a non-mage character). It's hard to read the text sometimes. Also abbreviations and pop-up text can be difficult to navigate when you try to look back and forth between an adventurer and their enemies. It may be better to put an adventurer stats somewhere on the screen, maybe in the window on the left.

Thanks for feedback! I'm gonna add and change some of the things you mentioned into the updated version after the jam.

Thanks for playing!

Oh I love this idea! Showing the combat that happens when the player takes your quest is a nice insight into your choices. Loving the style too. :)

Nice art, good idea. Well done!

We had a very similar idea :). good job with your implementation!

Great art, really nailed down the concept and feel with it. I loved the late 80s/early 90s feel to it. It was a bit challenging. The text was a little hard to read imo. A speed up option would be great in a more polished version. Could be a great time waster on mobile or in-between other game queues. great job keep it up!

The game could be challenging because I accidentally made enemies do double the damage :( I'm going to update it after the jam so thanks for feedback!

Great art, very cool concept. I would be interested to see this fleshed out some more.

Awesome job!

It is so exciting to find games with a similar idea but a completely different take :D

Very stylish and lots of DnD vibe, that was fun :)

Had some difficulties with finding the right enemy sometimes, would love to have some clues in the beginning. Couldn't find a tutorial at first as well, maybe it would be good to have it as a part of the game!

Thanks for playing!

Unfortunetly I realised there is a bug that basically doubles enemies' damage so that's why it can be harder than I wanted it to be :(

I will upload a fixed version after the jam ends so stay tuned!

One of our brainstorms ideas was a game called Questgiver! I love the art style, it has an Undertale vibe.
